Weather forecasts for Erie always look like this during May... more or less have to look at the percent chances for rain, which both are around 30% for the days... so not too bad.

You can't even guess 50/50 on next Thursday what next weekend's weather will be ike, and the weather changes so frequently in NE Ohio and Western PA that the forecast might change again early Saturday morning!

BTW, glad to see that Gonch is going to help my attendance prediction for 2008...every single person counts :)

I'm going to keep an eye on it. I need a solid forecast of decent weather (blue skies) by Thursday night - otherwise I'll just fit a stop in somewhere between now and fall.

How busy was the park this weekend? I am working at dorney park now so I do not even get to be there for the opening.

I saw maybe 100 on Sat. at noon when they opened and less than 30 on sunday. Sunday was 50's windy and rainy. If the weather is nice I expect to see a few thousand next weekend.

The crowds this past weekend were unusually light, usually about 5x-6x than what was there shows up on Opening Weekend... however, I think people are just waiting to spend their money once the new coaster is open.

Anybody interested in a dinner get togther outside the park let me know by email or private message.

Ok, now THAT'S what we've all been waiting to see! Good stuff, nothing like a good front car POV to get a good idea of what's really going on. Awesome views out to the lake, a good look at the poor soul's trailer right at the bottom of the first drop, just tremendous stuff. Thanks Rssc...

Looks like it takes a little break in the middle then picks back up to finish. Good times, CAN NOT WAIT.
