Rode three more times before I drove home today. Still love it. There is tons of airtime over the road each way and coming back over the road is Raven-esque and just wild and totally out of control feeling. I can't wait to get some night rides on it.

Beware the turnaround on the left side of the train, I got jabbed under my arm a couple times due to the quick change of direction / airtime spot.

Again, awesome ride.

Exactly what I was saying in my above posts about the turnaround and the left side of the train. It got me good. Glad you enjoyed the ride. Hope to get back up there this weekend.

I love how the 90 actually becomes a drop. Not that I'm disappointed, but I would have loved a bigger drop back into the ravine from the 90.

Yeah, the 90 degree is taken pretty slow and the drop back down from it picks up some nice speed but at that point the ride is just about over.

Rode it three times on Memorial Day. While the front had more out-of-control moments I preferred the back car for the prolonged air over the bridge and the air on the first and second drop (which one does not get riding in the front). Out of the four of us in our group I was the only one to prefer the back.

My only criticsm: I would like to see the hill parallel to the brake run lowered about 10 feet to give the ending some oomph. Otherwise RFII is a fun, solid ride. Definitely a crowd-pleaser. I'm predicting the end gets hotter as the ride breaks in.

EDIT - removed an extra I and change the V to an F...thanks everyone! :)

RVIII? I wasn't much of a fan of the pink track... but the water effects were neat.

RVII on the other hand, now THAT is a coaster! ;)

Is it August 16 yet? :) (I'll be attending the GOCC Event there!)

Answer my Prayers, Overbook my next Flight!

RVII? Is that the rumored camper coaster B&M is building?

What is the GOCC event?

Its interesting how different the ride feels from front to back. It may actually feel smoother in the back, while the front is out of control and wild.

GOCC is the Great Ohio Coaster Club. I don't want to chance breaking any TOS rules so do a google search of the club and the info on their event is right on the main page. I'm not a member myself but I do know someone who is.

I think it could have had a Raven-like ending and that last hill should have been the final brake-run myself.

While in Tejas, I heard that BB has gotten some (much-needed) attention and that the "second half" is now running at more appropriate, faster, speeds. Can't help but wonder if there won't be some similar *tweaking* done to RF2 after this season...

Sometimes the running rails just have VERY tight clearances until the ride "breaks in"...if that's the case, then maybe a month or so of good hard use will make the ride a little faster .

Its not going to need any attention at all. It was plenty fast this weekend, just not as fast as the first half.

^I think TGG may just have set our expectations a tad TOO high with their first two coaster projects. ;)

Bullet, honestly, was VERY good last year. But the opening sequence had me anticipating something more along the lines of Hades/Voyage, and my belief is that the high "turnaround hill" really bled off more speed than even TGG expected or wanted.

Given my experiences with a "used" Voyage and Hades, I think they DO tend to get faster as they go through the first few months of operations. Doubt I'll be able to give RF2 too much time before trying it out...LOL! :)
