Ok, I understand the auction and pay-per-ride on the 17th is raising money for the JDRF, but the auction page also mentions the ride is open on the 18th from noon to 9pm. Is this also a fundraising day or do things go to 'normal' on the 18th?

Also a pay per ride day. It has not been said in any official media that the ride is included in ride-a-rama for those two days. My $50 might still get a seat on first out but I doubt it. Otherwise i'll just but 11 ride passes.

If I was going vacation that weekend I would buy a seat, but I will be in Puerto Rico instead. :)

I might just head out that weekend.

News reports from when it was first announced said that on Opening Weekend of RFII the ride would not be part of the Ride-a-Rama, and ONLY pay per ride with $4 of $5 dollars going to Juvenile Diabetes... after that weekend the ride will be part of the normal pass system.

Dilligence has paid off. The trains arrived today!

I'm glad to see the trains don't have headrests. I never understood what a headrest was supposed to do for a wooden coaster train.

Went to public library to see if I could find any mention of the original Ravine Flyer in the May 1922 newspaper. Well I did... and I will add them to my flikr page as soon as my "VIDEO" finishes uploading to youtube.

O.K. now both are loading and I think flikr will be done first including video!

Looks awesome! thanks for posting, hopefully there will be more videos and from different angles. I am looking to hit this park up on a trip to or from Niagra Falls.
