^^Yes I know, what you mean -- however considering this is his 4th or even more 'personality' on the board, he probably knows that.

Do you have a link/source to this? Thanks...Sorry for the missed spelled words.
Sorry, it's late, but Coasterkid200, "Where was the last place you remember seeing the missed spelled words?" It's usually pretty close by.
I heard a guy on public radio who wrote a book about how to find lost items, and he found out that most of them are within 15 ft. of where you last remember having them last. Damned if he hasn't been right just about everytime. Other people I've passed this information on to have had just as much success with the theory. So take a look in that area.
Hopefully, you realize that I'm just teasing you Coasterkid200 and in the future when your spelling isn't correct, you will have misspelled the word/s.
That is a direct link to the article. It should redirect you after a few seconds. If not, go to Crains Cleveland and on the main page, there's a rotation of three articles. The Geauga Lake article is the first one, click "Read More." I found that you get redirected to the login if you click the image, but if you click "read more" you'll be redirected to the free version of the article.

I haven't heard anything new. It's still at the park. *** Edited 2/5/2007 2:16:26 PM UTC by FLYINGSCOOTER***

The Impulses are pretty loud, but I guess Dorney could build a nice "themed" station to provide soundproofing to keep the neighbors...quieter... ;)
I've sung big praises of GL for the past couple of years due to the ride/waterpark mix that was unbeatable anywhere, but the reasons to continue are disappearing fast (also the contribution of my revenue dollars).
Overall, I don't see this ending well for GL - it'll end up being a much smaller regional park (as CF and some others on this site want it to be), but who truly knows if more rides have to go to for the park to reach the equilibrium of expense/profit CF is willing to sustain there.
It's sad to think what could have been...
There's a BIG distinction, for me at least, between *predicting* what I believe will happen and declaring what I'd LIKE to happen...
Given ALL the options in the world, I'd go back in time, have *decent* SF ownership (unlike what SF had then), *and* have them make the park more competitive with CP...Ohio really COULD have supported 3 mega-parks...Ohioans are just plain crazy about parks, LOL.
Alas, my fantasy will not happen. Next most likely (and desireable, IMO), moving them to another CF park *in N. America* that CAN support the increased budgets, and where we can still enjoy those rides. Simply having GL suddenly become capable of financing rides like SV and X-Flight is kinda like saying a hyper would get MiA over the 1M mark....kinda... ;)

haha.. calming the neighbors? You obviously aren't from around here.
The only nearby coasters that Dorney's neighbors don't have a problem with are the ones in Hershey.

And that's exactly what Geauga Lake was before the rebranding and that's what CF is bringing the park back to.
I'm not happy that a couple major rides are being removed but if it means keeping the park going then I'm all for it.
It was also noted that a thrill ride will have cameras installed to record your ride as a souvenir. My guess is that Dominator will get the cameras along with new seats.
