GL's Steel Venom probably also on it's way out....

Well they had a could of shirts that had the saying 'EH? on it and then had the AE logo in a leaf, but they also had polos with the leaf and AE under it. Might have just been a trial run?!?!

I know that there are some Timmies in MI as we hit them up when we went through there. I did not know they were in KY though.

Nope, the American Eagle here has eagles. I've never even seen anything AE with a maple leaf on it. As for Roots, yes it's comfortable but not something someone my age(18) would wear.

Now, now... Before you write us Roots wearing folk off as old geezers, I can point you to high schools, colleges and universities packed full of students with Roots gear. It may not be something YOU would wear, but I wouldn't be so quick to speak for everyone your age... ;)

Putting the 'odd' in Todd since 1976...
Maybe he doesn't wear ROOTS because it is more expensive than American Eagle?
^ & ^^, I Would wear ROOTS however it just isn't my style. I like the clothing and all, it just doesn't look good on me. I know a couple of my buddies wear some Roots clothing and I actually have a pair of Track pants from Roots, which are by far my most comfortable pair of pants. I just don't buy it because the Roots here sucks, all they sell is Hats, sweaters and a few other items, which of course are all the stuff I DON'T wear. However the ROOTS stores at the malls in Toronto DO cater to people more of my age and do have more of the type of clothes I would wear. I have NOTHING against Roots, just like you said, It is pretty expensive. Just kinda like how me and A&F go... I Love the clothes, just not the prices:P

A&F was priced decently a couple of years ago, but it has gone to the ridiculous stage anymore. Honestly who would spend $100 on a pair of destroyed jeans? I know I won't. You can get some "deals" when they have clearance -- that's when they are actually priced what they should have been to begin with.

Aeropostale is still the best priced of the bunch. I wish I liked their clothes, but I don't. :)

Wow, have we gone off topic or what. ;)

^ lol, fully agree with you there. I wouldn't dare to spend that on my clothing either because I know I can find better, more comfortable clothing and get maybe 3 pairs instead of 1. But then again there is quite a few more brands more expensive then A&F but unlike A&F, the $100 you pay for those jeans is WELL worth the $100 you spend since they actually are HIGH-QUALITY vs. the $100 you spent at A&F on LOW-QUALITY, which should have only cost you $10 since it only cost a poor little kid in a sweatshop less then a penny to make.

Anyways, back on topic with Steel Venom, has deconstruction started yet? And, is there any info yet on where it's going? (Although its probably going to be Dorney, but I would have loved to see it at CW)

Not yet. Probably gonna wait until after they get done taking down X-Flight and then work on SV. Even though they stop working on XF for awhile to take down the monorail. Or they'll wait till after this season and take it down. Who knows.

SV will be in storage next year. My guess is that where ever it is stored is where it will stay, but anyone's guess is as good as mine.

I was at the park Saturday and got some pictures. SV seems untouched, most if not all of the monorail has been demolised except for the station. And X-Flight had a ton of work done since the last time I saw it about 2 weeks ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if Steel Venom remains for the 2007 season and doesn't get removed until next fall. Not sure if the park would want to be deconstructing while there are park guests, unless they find the time to do it in the next two months.
I imagine it would be stored at Geauga Lake... after all, there is plenty of space right there.

You've got that right. With X-Flights removal, the parking lot can back to full size. (maybe the park should rent spots to dealerships for overflow situations. That's one way to make the park look busy. ):)

"How weird that ALL of today's park guests are driving Jeep Libertys without license plates!"
