Let me clue all of you in. Jeff can beat me 100x over in DDR. He will never, and the Great Phrease means NEVER, have more soul than me. You think I'm not "black enough", come to the bank with me when I apply for a loan, and you'll see how black I am then.
People with rhythm dance at clubs, not arcades...
I pimp the Jehi curl harder than anybody!!!!
Glad you could put your 40 down long enough to write. ;)

Hmmmmm.
Is that Phrease as in 'close the window, it's phreasing in here' or 'My McDonald's fries all cold--and they Phreasy too'?

I think I'll get DDR for the PS2, if they have it. Maybe I can get my black permit expanded outside of the suburbs.
I like to give a shout out to Coasta Buster, errr, Busta, errr, Player, errr, I mean Playa.

You DO know that PSX games play on PS2 right?
I'm only saying that cause Konamix is FAR better than DDRMAX for American PS2.
-Natalie
Who's hoping that someone who owns a PS2 already knows that....
Obviously, I DO know that. It should go without saying.
I shoud have posted-
"I think I'll get DDR for the (my) PS2..,"
Details, details, details..
News flash: Cedar Point is in Ohio!
Please do not to be insulting me, k?
Edit: Or else you'll be forced to play me in DDR...

And now from the dockets of Black America vs. The Great Mycke Frease, The Honorable Judge John Amos presiding....
Prosecuting Attorney Gary Coleman: (slams printout on witness stand): Mr. Phrease, can you read this forum thread for the record?
Mycke: Not really.
Gary Coleman: I guess you have a point there. (Picks up and reads)

(continues) Did you use the word 'errr' in a sentence? Not once, not twice, but three times? Whatchatalkinbout Phrease? What kind of self-respecting, card-carrying brotha uses the word 'err?'
Phrease: Yo honuh, I'd like to plead my right to jump from the stand and run like a stereotypical scared brotha on TV.

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.
Den,
Actually it's based off of the Max engine (hence DDRMAX USA), but it has some Max2 features (this is based off of the PS2 demo disc from the November Playstation magazine). Actually, if you have Stepmania for the PC (and if you don't, why not?!?!?! :) ), it looks exactly like that (at least Stepmania 3.0 beta 6 that is).
Song wise, I agree with the lack of MAX2 songs, but it's also missing a lot of the MAX-only songs too. We get Ghosts, but no Telephone Operator or Bye Bye Baby Balloon *groan*. I suspect that they did this for another home release in the future once Dance Dance Revolution Extreme (8th mix) is released in Japan. But instead, we get a lot of music that hasn't been released in any DDR game before. (Sandstorm :) ) So I guess it is a fair trade.
Chris
Well - I really wanted those MAX/MAX2 songs at home. I was going to buy a PS2 special for this game, but with that song list, I don't think I will. Konamix will have to do until the songs I mentioned are put into a home version*.
*one that's legal in the U.S.

Dockets of Black America?
For crying out loud, my judge is James...from "Good Times"!!
You could have came better than that.
How about Sherman Helmsley or Redd Foxx.
Coast(er) Play(er)? More like Coasta Playa Hater.
BTW...it's Freeze not Frease. I got three words for ya, Hooked on Phonics.
-Phrease - who's not a "playa", but the coach calling the plays.

Licensure hearings only merit the attention of Districkt Coat (or 'Court' for the uninitiated) and Sherman Helmsley still gets acting jobs every now and then. So you got John Amos, a man with lots and lots of free time on his hands.
BTW, further perusal of said docket reveals that Mr Phrease's request was upheld and he was given the standard ten-minute 'slave movie' head start.

Second: I would think, at the very least, Zeus "Tiny" Lester should have been the court baliff...with Spike Lee as the courtroom sketch artist.
Finally, there can be NO slave-running without the utterance of a good "Lawdie-laud!"
lata,
jeremy
--wondering does anyone here deserve to walk amongst the hood rats...
Leave Tiny outta this...at least he's moved up from 'Prisoner #2 in the shower scene' to 'Lazy-eyed Ving Rhames on a budget' (The Fifth Element). That's far more than you could say for a career brutha-that's-gonna-get-it like Ernie Hudson (Leviathan, anyone?)
Actually, Tiny was in a deleted scene available on the bonus DVD of I do TOO gots Soul: The Mycke Phrease Story (which also featured Vanilla Ice in a cameo role as Jeff Putz).
Bailiff Tiny: I got my eye on you, Phrease. And it's my good one, too.
I hope you're happy now.
