DDR bug has hit hard

Haha every time I reach the pause in HV:AM I always yell out "WOO!" :) I'm also happy to say that I AA'ed it on Standard a few days back :D

I still don't know how you can do that on Heavy though, the 1/8th notes of doom would just kill me...

On heavy, I don't think I would have the lung-power to yell "WOO!" by the time I got to the stop. That is one tiring song. Second to Exotic Ethnic amongst 9-footers, I'd say.

I still can't beat HV:AM heavy in the arcade. I am too used to the ultra-sensitive home pads and forget you have to stomp a little harder there...

...if we're playing progress report ;)...

I had my behind handed to me on platter by both Hero (Happy Grandale Mix) and Wonda (Speed K Mix) on Heavy this week. They're easier to handle in Stepmania, I guess :)

I'll keep practicing those.

I'll also got my first chance to play an Extreme mix. I like it a lot. It's got some awesome, classic songs and some really interesting new ones. I liked Cartoon Heroes :) ...it was ashame that where I played had the pads resting up against the machine, making the screen very, very close.

i must be the only one on the site that doesn't like DDR. <runs and takes cover>

Don't worry. You're not alone.

No, actually, most people on this site who don't like DDR (and this is the important part) DO NOT post in the *DDR* forum.

I mean it only makes sense...>_> Why post in the *DDR* forum if you don't like *DDR*

*shrugs*

Anyway...yeah i love the feeling of hittin those two last notes at the end of healing vision and the freeze rules of course ^_^

I was so surprised: yesterday i went over to an arcade and decided to do Exotic Ethnic (heavy), the weird thing is that i remember playing it but i don't remember playing *through* it, and when i finished i saw i had an A! O__o? I guess i was kind of hypnotized because i wasn't thinking about it, i was just doing it. but i don't remember going throuh it. Weird, no?

Progress Report:

A'd Xenon (heavy)
Barely Passes Sakura (heavy) I had about 5 millimeters of life left
Passed Paranoia Survivor, Survivor MAX and Lagend of MAX...

...on Standard ^_^; (they're 8fters, and LOM is a 9 on standard)

Rolla coasta lova, and a DDR maniac

I played Legend of Max for the first time last night. Although it was at GameWorks so I have no idea what the song sounds like, I just played it. ;) (note to clueless: GameWorks is *loud*).

I passed it on standard with a B, though. If this is a nine-foot, Maxx Unlimited standard should be 10. The only thing hard about LoM standard is the fast jumps at the end, and Maxx has about 6 times that many jumps.

Also, I hadn't prepared to play and I was wearing heavy boots, jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. On my second and last game, I let the other guy pick, and he selected Trip Machine Survivor, Drop Out and HV:AM. I nearly died from heat and sore ankles... :P

We probably don't need this long topic anymore seeing as how we have an entire forum for the topic.
