Six Mile? Ya grow up around the Motor City, CPlaya?
Of course not--I grew up in Schenectady, New York. You know, the other town with a Six Mile, a Schaefer and a West Side. Yeesh.

Almost but not quite....I think his probashun offi-suh has to give him an activator bottle and make sure he sprays twice an hour.
For clueless people playing along at home: Go rent 'Coming to America' and check out Eriq LaSalle greezin' up the screen before he goes for wannabe roles on TV. Sellout.

Hey, I went to inner-city schools in the 80's. I knew white dudes with that hair. Everyone was doing it!

White people using Soul Glo? At my high school during the 80's (I was in middle school), feathered hair and bleaching your hair was the look.
As far as DDR goes, I play it whenever I go to Gameworks. I suck.

Mark, you don't suck as bad as you think you do. Assuming you're talking about the Gameworks in Columbus, that place has the difficulty cranked up to super-hard. Make two wrong steps and your life bar drops waaaaay down.
Try Columbus Square Bowling Palace on the far north side. Cheap and it's the newest version. Or, Putt Putt on the east side, Subway on campus, Eastland Mall, Magic Mountain, etc. All better than Gameworks.
On the other hand, GW has Guitar Freaks.... another excellent music game.

Yes, that's the Gameworks at Easton...I noticed that I seemed to be better at Magic Mountain, so maybe that's the problem.
If only there were a saxophone game...I'd rule!

Mark - no sax game, but there is Beatmania (drums), one with a keyboard, plus there's ParaParaParadise, which defies description. And Pump It Up, which is like DDR with a twist. And about a dozen others. There's a whole world of music games!!
Natalie - asshat? Are you a Farker by chance, or did you pick that up somewhere else??

Elissa and I have been playing for well over a year now, our favorite is still 4th mix. Although we're found ourselves not playing as much due to all the 6th and 7th mix machines out there. We really don't like the freeze arrows. I know there is a code to turn them off, but we haven't looked for it yet.
We'll also be happier once we're on a 1st floor apt and we can play at home more.

Heh, I thought Detroit/Metro Detroit was the only place with this Mile Road system... (Shows ya how little I've been out of this state :-/)
It's funny with the Mile Roads though. Some friends of mine think they're so *hardcore* since they live by 8 Mile (borderline road between Detroit and Macomb County. That, and the name of Eminem's new movie.)

And whooooooossh goes the sarcasm over a few of these poster's heads. What do I have to do, draw you a picture? Or call it McNichols Road instead?

ROTFL! At least THIS metro Detroiter got it 'playa. I remember the homies who visited the same parks I did as a kid.
BTW, are you old enough to remember Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy playing at Edgewater?
Oh...as for the thread...I'm up to moderate levels now! Hopefully I'll be able to hold my own on closing day at CP.
