The guy across the hall from Tobe at MSU built a metal pad. It's pretty good, except it's not quite finished yet and still slides around a little.

Jeff, my steel pad (described a few posts back) is BNS brand, but it looks just like the one from cyphergames. eBay, $99. 100% worth it.

To my knowledge the most I've seen are asian or white. I never said anything about jews or blacks. God I hate stupid generalizations. I guess I should've worded that better but you don't need to jump to conclusions.
edit: Also why didn't you get pissed at finchfanatic for making a statement that promotes the stereotype that white people have no sense of rythmn?
Also, since DDR originates in japan and is 100X more popular over there. Alot more asians play than any other ethnic descent.

I've mainly seen Aisians and Mexicans playing the games, and when I see a white person play it, they aren't the greatest to say the least.

I too was recently hit with the DDR 'bug". I am still pretty sucky but improve everytime I play (there is a solo 4th Mix machine 5 minutes from where I live and a 3rd Mix Plus (?) about 20 minutes away so that helps some).
I am soooooooooo hoping to get a set up to play DDR at home for X-mas :)

I have friends at school that are surprised that I suck at DDR (then again I'm not your average Asian teen...) Although I've only played on a real machine twice... I'm planning to pickup a pad and a game, so I don't have to embarrass myself at the arcade :)
