DDR bug has hit hard

I'd perfer Lowe's just because every time I have walked into Home Depot I'm ignored by the associates. My last visit was when I was 17. Apparently 17 year olds don't matter to them, so why should I matter to them now?

Just thought I'd mention, now that the thread is on page 20, that DDR and C'buzz got a mention is this week's ARN&R: www.absolutelyreliable.com/

Go down to the second story....you DDR'ers are like famous or something!

That thing about Great Escape is full of bull! That site is so stupid, and probably run by a couple of drunks.

Rollergator, you obviously missed Michael Darling's post on the previous page, and Jeff's comment afterwards.

I've checked out replacement foam at the local Joanne Fabrics store. They sell foam in various grades.

I never thought about turning the foam, but that sounds like a great idea. At least one of our pads has "dents" now.

CPLady, you are correct....given that I don't DDR (which leaves me in the "less-than-cool crowd, lol), I couldn't stand to read this whole thread....I just check in from time to time to make sure Den doesn't let this sucker fall into the abyss of *Page-2 land*....;)

That being said, XFan is right, that ARN&R site has never released any info I couldn't get on 100 other sites out there...

I'll stop playing DDR before I let this thread languish in the C-buzz archives! ;)

Thanks Den...nice to know there's SOMEONE out there paying attention...:)

bill, living proof that you don't have to be k3wl, or play DDR, to have FUN!

Wow, my quote is on their site! I'm famous now! ;)

Wow, this thread has been without DDR discussion for like a whole page!

Lemme see what I can do...

So, who's passed some catas on DDR MAX? i.e. 9- or 10-foot songs? I think the only ones I can do are Matsuri Japan and My Summer Love. I'm working on Orion 78, Rhythm and Police and HVAM.

Ok I *tired* to read this uge topic but I dont understand most of what is being said! I just bought today "Dance Dance Revolution Konamix" by Konami. And I bought DPR2 (Dance Pad Revolution Two) for my PS1. Can anyone tell me if I bought the *right* thing or did I just get ripped off?

Thanks, Sarah

You bought the right game (if all you have is a PS1). I don't think your pad is high quality, but it should do you well if you're just starting. Once you get better, move up to the Cyphergames pad or a metal pad.

Yes I've just started Den. I've never ever played the game before. Mostly I bought it because Bob (KicksTheSky) told me about the workout mode and I wanted to try that out to see if it helps me loose some weight. Yup, all I have a little PS1...(hopefully moving on up here soon)

Thank you very much Den for your help. It is much appreciated.

You're welcome. I don't know where you live in Ohio, but there's a ton of arcade machines in this state. You should try those out too, once you learn the basics. It's a much better experience than playing at home.
