Cedar Point's Blog is teasing us!

Based on the new blog, it appears that Cedar Point may be coming out soon? This is interesting, it seems as though a great plan is being divised infront of our eyes.

The next few weeks may get interesting.

Maybe this is part of a new marketing idea, announce a ride for next year just before the park opens. Would it bring people in? Or would it draw people out for this year thinking it would be better to go next year. Interesting idea. Again, the next few weeks will be interesting.

A new show in Frontier town!

Please join us in the new Maverick Theatre(tm) for Construction: The Show. Watch men and women pour concrete, lift steel, and if your lucky, weld! All from the comfort of our slowly spinning stage, complete with moat surrounding it! This show runs continuously until 4 PM, except for coffee breaks.

^
Of if it's Union Break you have to add in doughnut breaks, water breaks, bathroom breaks, call my spouse breaks, nap beaks, hey look over there breaks, lunch breaks, Ooooo a spotted owl breaks, etc ;)

Ooooo a spotted owl breaks would halt construction indefinitely! ;)

Couldn't resist throwing 'em a bone... :)

Moosh, they aren't listening to you. Logic escapes a majority of the crowd.

Why would Cedar Fair build B&M coasters at 3 of their parks and not at their biggest park? They obviously had a multi-ride contract with them.

Ironic twist of statements, eh? I guess your now just a part of the "majority" too. The sarcasm card won't work since your post contains not a trace of it.

Its just an interesting tee shirt, nothing more. Its not like I came here shouting the second coming, or anything.

I shouldn't really be speculating about it, but wow! That T-Shirt would look great with a "Maverick" logo on it.

And look at the direction of the track. Hmmmm...

Don't you mean directions?

TTD '03 crew 69 launches, 65 complete circuits
Maybe I'm not seeing it right. I mean look at the way the track is upsidedown with respect to the skulls head being rightsideup, leading me to speculate that the ride in the illustration is a suspended, inverted, or...Flyer.

But it's just a silly T-Shirt that has been for sale for a year from what I read on Pointbuzz.

Dexter, I noticed that as well, however I was thinking more along the lines of a 4D.

I know the T isn't related to the 2007 ride, but it would look good with the Maverick logo and make sense if it is a 4D. Plus, the new 4D does appear to take some time to build.

Tom

If these shirts were avaliable since last year, then I guess you could say there was some foreshadowing as to what ride was being built next...

Skyhawk anyone? ;)

I would almost believe that, if not for the coaster track in the design. ;)

How much effort do you guys think that cosmetic marketing people put into their work?

I seriously doubt that half of Cedar Fair's employees even KNOW the difference in coaster-building companies, let alone their track styles.

I agree with MForce2k. BGT's marketing dept used sketches of Skeikra with Vekoma/Arrow style track on t-shirts and ads.
Let's add some fuel to the already blazing inferno:

Mutter mutter mumble mumble. Somebody throw us a freakin bone already!!! I think if I ever ran into those two I'd have to lay the smack down! Yeah, right, my butt would be dribbled out the front gate so fast...

(sigh)

Memphis Kiddie Park opens this weekend! I'll be there with my 5 1/2 year old and almost 3 year old! Little Dipper, first coaster of the year!! Woohoo!!
