Does the description of the layout they provided match up with the layout that we've seen?
.
Don't think so because based on the layout we are assuming from 7-9 inversions, the text on the bat web page talks only about a few. Also, the inversion types on the bat don't seem to match up with the types we were suspecting from the blueprint.

Kings Island just tweeted "Not sure if I will write down some notes or wing it Thursday night when we announce our new world record-breaking attraction."
So not only is an amusement park referring to itself in the first person, but it's also somehow able to use a writing utensil? Have the KI mechanics lost control of Skynet?
That would be SooooooooOOooo stupid to put a wing coaster in the same state as one that holds all the records currently.
I could understand Gatekeeper got a few years of holding the record. But not one season.
I don't see Cedar Fair shooting themselves in the foot on that one.
From a marketing stand, why not have an invert with World Records, AND a Wing Coaster with World Records...then you could market BOTH with WORLD records...not to mention they are now selling Combo passes to Cedar Point and Kings Island! .....
Oh...PS: And why not throw a record breaker slide in at Geauga Lake too ;-)
Perhaps not enough normal non-coaster fans know that "The Bat" used to be a ride at Kings Island? Marketing a ride as "The return of The Bat" seems strange.
I think this Bat bolognee is just a tactic to throw everyone off. At least, I hope it is. I don't want a new wing coaster at Kings Island when they don't have a proper inverted coaster yet.

...wing coaster screenshots...
Hey! Wait.
Marvin Miller is the same guy who spent most of the KI 2014 thread trying to convince us all the new coaster was going to be everything but a B&M Inverted coaster.
I'm calling shenanigans.
