Everyone,
I went to www.visitkingsisland.com web site and happened to click on "More..." on the upcoming new coaster announcement, and I think someone made a mistake of posting these incomplete pages. I am sure these would be taken down shortly. I quickly screen captured these.
So... it is a wing coaster after all. Matt Ouimet lied (or was it a white lie?).

Nice try, but I doubt KI would use the layout of Gatekeeper, shots of Diamondback, and gibberish in the descriptions of "ride information, track layout, and statistics."

Your right, it is on their website. Interesting.
Ill still wait until the official announcement before I believe it though, because of the inconsistencies I pointed out above.

I think its the real thing. The logo, design, the colors and all look pretty cool and fairly polished.
However, what does this mean for the silver comb/golden hairs and Banshee?
Now that I think about it - must be a prank or an intentionally created diversion by the KI PR folks. To create more buzz.

Actually, that's exactly what KI would do when developing the websites. Dummy images and dummy text.
The website has disapeared now...
If this is true, then where are those inverted B&M parts going? Im still leaning towards Banshee, but if Im wrong the Bat 2.0 would be a great addition as well.

The 2014 page now has a 404 error, but the more link on the home page still goes to the link posted above. Earlier today it directed to the social-networks page.

Using photos like that and lorem ipsum filler is exactly how they'd design the site. I do the same when designing.
Looking further into this, unless this was a "throw-off" as there hasn't been many teasers lately, then there needs to be some work done in the IT department because this would be the second year in a row a big boo boo like this happened. At least it wasn't as bad as last year when GateKeeper's everything was leaked when the website went up early.
If B&M fixes the damn restraint lock-in, then the ride may be a good thing. I still wish they went with a Giga.
Makes more sense that the web pages are the decoy...especially after so much got rooted out.
Why would you bother making the official send out the decoy? If that's the case, it may be the most horrible PR move ever.
At the very least, it does have the nerd community talking/guessing...but hell, we're easy.
After riding both Gatekeeper and Raptor on media day I'm not surprised if this is a wing coaster instead of an invert. The only good seats on an invert are in the front row. The wing coaster design helps with more open seating.

I do believe enthusiast-baiting has gone to the next level. The whole thing is hilarious.
My author website: mgrantroberts.com
It goes to social networks now.
I was able to see the home page just a few minutes ago, but the others wouldn't come up.
If this was indeed is the practice web page (we've seen this 'error' before) it makes sense that they would plug in stock photos and lorem ipsum type filler.
I'll be very disappointed if this indeed turns out to be Ohio's second longest, highest, blah blah blah wing coaster. I just don't like em that much.
Edit: and by that I don't mean 2nd longest, but the second in the state, from the same chain for cryin out loud. This just can't be true.
