Aventura is the only one. And judging by the storyline the park has for the ride, I would be willing to bet that the trains were developed specifically for the park to fit the themeing. The patent on them is several years old, which would coincide right around the time that the park would have been developing the ride. If this were some type of new train that Intamin planned on using elsewhere, why havent they been promoting it at IAAPA and the like?

...and why would you spend the R&D dollars to develop a brand new train for just one park. Arrow can tell you why that's not a great idea.

Why not, the only thing different between those trains and the standard Intamin trains is the seating. The entire undercarriage, boagies, wheels ect are the same. It is an adaptation of what they already have. What arrow did with X is totally different. Those trains needed a completly new design. I work in an engineering dept. It does not take that much time or effort for a company to adapt something that already exists. Basicly, take a standard Intamin train, put a beam accross the undercarriage, place your standard seat design further out on that beam.

Gotham That picture is nice but as we have seen already the could easily add another support to those beams to extend it outwards. They have done so already on other parts of the ride.

Trust me, I am an engineer, I design complicated machinery on a daily basis. It is a lot easier than you might think.

Wow! That is amazing if you really think about it.But it is true, Mantis was the last inversion coaster put into the park in 1996.

IMO, the element to the right of the first inversion does look like it will be another inversion, but until the element is finished, I wouldn't say it with certainty.

This is nuts. Cool lookin ride for sure, but the suspense is killing me haha. Same as everyone else. I thought there was going to be an announcement sometime this month. August is running out. Perhaps they are waiting till after the season is over. Who knows. It is neat to watch this thing take shape though.

Looks like thats going to be some sort of super boomerang. Only thing that bugs me is the size of the support here:

Looks like something else is going on top of it.

I don't think I can count out the "wingwalker" trains quite yet. I doubted it originally, but seeing how they built such an odd wide boomerang, its very fitting for an extra-wide train.

If they are indeed building a new station for this coaster, why was the original WWL station left up?
