I don't get it.

What's so mysterious about a corkscrew that everybody can see on the webcam and various websites?

Nothing against MM but CP's new coaster will break at least one record. Most Operating Coasters at one park. Unless by some miracle they resurect Flashback after SBNO for 3 years.

You know what's kind of sad? The footer in this pic: http://www.cedarpoint.com/_upload/inside_the_park/wallpaper/CP_Mystery2_1600x1200.jpg already looks like it's been abused, and the coaster is still 8 months from opening.

"Abused?" Give me a break. Do you think Dick was out there with a chain giving it a few whacks before it went up? Accidents happen and I'm sure it will be touched up.

SFOGswim - marks like those are pretty typical during contruction. Silver Bullet had 'em. Rides receive quite a bit of touch-up paint before they opens. Nothing newsworthy IMHO.

Abused? Yeah, by seagulls while it was laying on the ground. That'll all wash off.

That one support looks significantly worse than all the others.

I dont see any clearance issues. At this point, I'm going all in with 'wingwalker'!

^I'll be there on the 8th too, Mole. 8th & 9th actually. I think there's another member from Pointbuzz that will be there one or both of those days too, so the picture updates are going to be overwhelming, ha. Hopefully more track is going up by then, I'm sure it will be.

I'm going today, and I still think it's too tight to allow for a winged train. It's definately inline. so i'm going 25-27. Getting there at 6.

And how can you tell that there's no inversion in that track. It's too tight to even see it.

Does anyone actually realize they cut out land to make clearence after its built? Thats what they did with Patriot at Worlds Of Fun. Some sections would of had your feet hit the ground but they spaced the clearence after its was all put together. Wing Walker is not out of the picture quite yet people.

Look at that picture again, and tell me at the Peak of that support, if this were a wing coaster, if someone held out their arm, would it make it through the inversion?

I think it's a little too close.

I eat my words. I hadn't seen that picture. It could just be the angle too. There could be a little more room then we can see. Regardless my clearence to the ground statement holds true. On that Zero G roll we will have to wait and see.

But, like head choppers, we call those arm choppers.

And since this is a pretty twisted coaster, we can't rule out my picture of the track layout. Because I can see it happenin. And at the roll, oyu can't see the heartline through it. *** Edited 8/25/2006 3:58:32 PM UTC by BANDandDCI***
