Watch your bank account for the check to clear. :)

Well, I use Visa. but I guess the monthly statement is a way to check... If I get it before October 1st... Which I doubt... Damn!

DragonKhan2000, I'm sure you will get a statement sometime in between there. Depending on when you sent your registration in it possibly could be on there.

Lets say your account balances closes on September 20, you *should* have your statement by September 25. Plenty of time to check and see.

I personally would just call the 800 number on the back of the card. If they have an automated line that gives you your last 5 or so transactions, check that first. If not, or it isn't listed on the last 5 if you use your card a lot, talk to a CSR. Tell them you are looking for a charge from Pop World Media and the amount and ask them to tell you if it is on there. *** Edited 8/30/2005 6:15:07 PM UTC by Sarah Jackson***

Does anybody have any intel on hotels in the area and whether or not reservations need to be made at this point? I think there is a Motel 6 somewhere near Holiday World that is pretty new that I used to stay at during SRM. . .

Reservations are always reccomended for hotels, IMHO...

Do you have internet access to your Visa account? If that's possible, you can look for the transaction that way.

My check for the event just cleared the bank so I know I'll be there. I can't wait to spend a day at HW with a ton of enthusiasts.

Have Fun

I've tried and tried to ignore this, but it's taunting me.

Okay...I'll bite:

So how many enthusiasts does it take make a ton?

Not as many as you think, Paula....especially after eating pizza and fudge for dinner.... ;)

I think THAT'S why the trains go that much faster during ERT... :) :)

It depends. How many to make a ton or a metric ton? ;)

HI

Just signed up for an account on this board. We're about 2h45m from HW and would like to attend, the two of us. How is capacity going? We'd be sending the form in with our check on Tuesday morning, will we be ok? It'd be coming from Illinois.

thanks

Well that totally sucks... Legally, I don't think that can stand up.

Oh yeah, isn't it a Buzz sponsored event? Doesnt that mean they can't control whor egisters? *** Edited 9/10/2005 5:57:20 PM UTC by pkidelirium***

I believe Legally, it can stand up. Holiday World is a privately held property. If they wanted to send a letter to me telling me I was not allowed to attend because they did not like my name (or a variety of othe reasons), I believe that is legal too.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

I have been fired a few times in my career and I'm certain that I wouldn't be welcome if I showed back up at an ex-employeer especially at a special event they were throwing for a select group of customers. I'm not making any judgements about HW or Jeff just a general statement that this does not seem out of the ordinary.

Yes, but this is a CBuzz sponsored event, so isn't it out of HW's hands?

pkid,

it's HW's park, it's their party. They can do whatever they want, whether it's for ACE or CBuzz or Aunt Fannie's Nose Picker's Anonymous.

Hey, how about that drinking in the campground?! W0000T!
