CoasterBuzz Club Fall Affair 2005 at Holiday World!

Another fantastic event for the Buzz and Holiday World! It was great to see everyone again and to make some new friends.

Kyle, you're not the only one who lost something that night, Bruce left his sunglasses in my car. Dude, check your messages here on the buzz.

I had such a great time. Much Thanks to Holiday World and its staff and to Jeff for putting this together. As with all CoasterBuzz events, it was an Affair to remember! :)

bsr241, we had the same thing! We were upgraded to a Family Whirlpool suite for the same price too.

I loved that room! So big. My only complaint is that the whirlpool is out in the middle of the living room. *** Edited 10/4/2005 2:25:58 AM UTC by Sarah Jackson***

Awesome event. Many thanks to Jeff and Holiday World for organizing such a great time. The return of nightime ERT to the park was memorable, as both woodies were kicking some serious butt. Now I just need to let these bruises heal before PPP this weekend.

That's correct. While in the queue you'll see the train fly by, separated only by some sort of plexiglas (or some such see-through material) wall.

Well I wasn't there but thank Jeff and the Koch's anyhow.

About halfway through the construction tour I stopped in my tracks: "Hey, where's Chuck?"

People looked at me like I was nuts, until I said, "You know, Charles Nungester!"

You were missed, my friend...

It has been recovered ... and will go in the mail to you soon.

It was not stolen; it was taken by mistake and then returned.

Thanks to Holiday World as well!

I was there in spirit. :-)

Actually I was sort of there, thanks to a few phone calls at work from friends who kept letting me hear Raven and Legend.

So cruel. ;-)

I am glad to hear the event rocked! As Mrs. Koch said...."see you in May!"

Ahh, but some of them still can't resist the temptation of extra fudge it seems. ;)

Is this see-through tunnel going to be one-way glass so it's still dark on the inside or what? Also, will the see through portion be on the roof of the tunnel? Will the queue walk right over it?

Long live the Big Bad Wolf

Even if you can see the station, that leaves four more tunnels and seven more potentially dark passes through them. I think we'll manage. :)

Personally, I'd prefer to see it!

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining, just trying to understand what's going on. This tunnel might make for a good light show for rider and onlookers if a camera flash strobe is in place. I'm all for variety in the tunnels--dark, smokey, lit up....

The way he put it, it sounded like the roof of the tunnel would also be see-thru where people will walk over it.
Thanks Paula, I may be living there next year with at least three visits already planned.

Expect a email from me soon requesting some info about some things.

Thanks again. Even a bad day at HW, (I can't see that happening) beats a 12hr work day

Sorry about that Frank...when we got back to the camp I guess I ran out to quickly to get my wife and forget them...

Once again, this was just a great time and I am hopeing to get to more events in the near future.

One thing is for sure, opening day next year, work or no work, I will be at HW waiting to ride the Voyage!! And not to worry, if there is an event next year, I'll have all the necessary supplies once again to ensure everyone after the event is taken care of!!

Bruce

Now that's Gummo...
Bruce

Thanks for your Southern Indiana hospitality. It's nice to know that it extends beyond the borders of HW.

Mike

Laugh your troubles away at Riverview, the world's largest amusement park.
For what it's worth I finally got my Voyage Construction Pictures uploaded. More of the same of what you've probably seen in other's photos - still cool to see if you haven't been there. That is going to be one heck of a ride. :)

Awesome! Thanks.

I figured that it was probably taken by mistake and not intentionally.
