CoasterBuzz Club Fall Affair 2005 at Holiday World!

Well...with using the name The Voyage, in reference, of course, to the wild trip the Mayflower took back in 1620, we left out the ocean.

So the blue is for the "ocean blue" or the "deep blue sea."

Plus it's my favorite color. :)

And that shade doesn't show the (gasp!) dirt the way a lighter color would.

I like the blue and the red/yellow trim. Are the restarints going to be black like in the graphic? Anything is better than those orange typicaql ones. :)
Just curious; was there any thought given to having a different color for each train? Despite the fact that Raven and Legend have the same respective color for both trains, I kind of expected that each of the Voyage trains would be a different color.

Why did that comment make me think of this Bill...

So we are calling the Turkeys and not shooting them? The baster was pretty good, I really wanted a blunder buster, but I guess I can call a few turkeys. I still would have preferred to shoot them so we could name all the turkeys in the ride after our favorite enthusiasts. I'll probably still do that.

As for The Voyage train colors, I love em. I love them almost as much as I love Legend's colors. In fact, I put both of them next to each other on my screen, and I can say that I almost love them equally. ;)

I am suddenly craving turkey and mashed potatoes (light on the gravy)...:-)

I would rather go on a *turkey hunt* but I guess I can save them too. ;-)

Paula--what I'd like to know is if there has ever been any further problem with the bell @ The Legend? Has it ever mysteriously "fallen" from the belfry, like it did during SRM '02???

Now THAT was a dark and mysterious night, with gale force winds and black-as-pitch thunderstorms raging as we rode the LEGEND on the wettest a wooden coaster track could ever be!!!

Wow! What a night!!! Truly one of the greatest nights of ERT I have ever spent at a park!!!

Barry J.

After that night they added an "upstop" to the bell to keep it from falling off in case someone pulled the string too hard. I wish they would re-route the pulley over to where the console is so once again the sound of bells would ring out across Holiday World.

Have Fun

I'm just wondering how blue connects with the Thanksgiving season. It looks good though.

Blue is the color you turn after eating too much at Thanksgiving dinner and not being able to breathe properly!

Now officially a Halloween Haunt Cornstalker for Fall '08! www.freewebs.com/chadmicah
Doah--how could I forget? On a sidenote, the flat section on The Voyage is probably a breathing section right before that triple down. I used to complain about it, but now I think it's necessary for survival.

You guys all know how multiple-train operations work, right? There always has to be brakes (or the stoppable liftchain) available in between the individual trains, no matter where they are.

Can't you stop trains by merely putting a bell down on the tracks?

"Blocking", LOL! :)

Jeff/whoever:

Deadline to register is the 23rd. Does that mean postmarked on the 23rd or received by the 23rd? I'm still working on getting the day off for the event--it's 50/50 right now....
