Hmmmmmmmmmm a 66 degree drop would beat J2's 65 but I would bet GAdv is going beyond 66 on their new woodie.

Oh come on, I could have figured this out!

S&S/Arrow is making a comeback with TWO new versions of their 4th Dimension coaster! One on land, the other with water. With 20 foot wide cars, the water version will run in water at a chilly 66 degrees and will test your endurance for 24.2 seconds.

The land version is going to have two trains with 21 rows (seating 84 people)! It's going out into the woods and will take roughly 60 years to travel the entire course. Which explains the enourmous trains to keep up capacity.

Sorry to spill the beans Paula. I'm sure Cindy and I, along with our very own 2006 addition will come to the park next year.

20 feet wide might refer to the width of the tunnel which might mean that we are getting a Hades' style two way tunnel.

66 degrees should be the first drop of course.

I think the 84 persons is probably the 3 7-car trains, but it could refer to the SS project.

I still think the 24.2 seconds is the tunnel length if that is a clue for the coaster and not for the SS project.

Does HW really need the capacity of 84 people? I mean, sure I'll gladly take it, but isn't it a little unneeded?

Or 3 trains of 7 cars holding 4 people -- a bit more likely (Raven & Legend trains are 6x4=24, so going to 28 is reasonable). 3 trains would hint at a longer ride... no complaints here...

20 feet wide is the width of an S&S/Arrow 4D train but I know better than that :) More likely the width of the new midways, sice it applies to both parks.

60 years is easy -- the park opened in 1946. Duh.

24.2 seconds, though, I dunno. Lift hill ascent? That'd be kinda fast though. Length of something new in Splashin Safari?

I think its funny how everyone has assumes those first few numbers pertain to a coaster. For one, the "20 foot wide" comment pertained to both HW and Splashin' Safari. Pathway width, anyone?

Ok so I was wrong on which coaster had the 65 degree drop. I knew J2's was close to that ... it's 62

I thought the 20 was path width so I left that be.

How about a slide that plunges some distance in 24.2 second.. someone want to do the physics on this?

^^ Why would "nearly all" be revealed? What would there be that would be left un-revealed? Perhaps something underground.... ;)

How wide is Zoombabwe's slide; I think its 14 feet. If so, a 20 ft. wide water slide could be possible, although I can't see how much different it can be compared to Zommbabwe, makeing it not as appealing.

24.2 seconds is the amount of time after Paula's annoucement that someone complains about the new additions ;)
