Deja Vu, when will it open

Ok, how about this, it wont open again! Please stop asking when it will open. They're working on the problem, let them be. You dont want them to rush through it so that it re-opens then breaks down again, or has a disaster. It will open when it opens, stop the complaining please.

Just since it seemed to be unconfirmed, I can confirm that SFMM's DV was running yesterday, 6-8, and X was running the same day. I know it's hard to believe, they were actually running two of their biggest attractions on the same day! 'Course, just like every other time I've gone in recent memory, X lost a train halfway through the day, but that's for another post.

Wouldnt they have to remove part of the track to get the train out?? Or Do they unbolt the train from the track?

OK, update time. How's the Georgia version doing?

The one in Chicago is dead as a doornail. If this ride is out the whole season, that's a real pity.

That's correct. There was a small piece of track missing. And, as of 6.16.03, Deja Vu at SFGAm is SBNO(no work being done that was visible).

Good News! According to Screamscape: (they changed the news for SFGAm from 6/18 from bad news to this)

"Turns out this is just a piece of track that gets removed whenever they need to put on or remove the trains, and it has been missing all season so far."

Heres the link: http://www.screamscape.com/html/six_flags_parks_f-l.html

Originally they had something about "it doesnt look good for Deja Vu" because there was missing track. Its not on the page with all the parks with updates today, they just changed it and didnt say it. Just look under SFGAm.

ENJOY!

All I know is that this could mean only one thing....! :-)

Yes, but don't get your hopes up. It's still all rumors.

SFGAmMan,

That is what I, and others have said from the start! How did you expect them to get the trains on if they didn't have an opening to put them on through? Did you expect them to wave a magic wand and *poof* the train would pop onto the track?

I SAID IT TOO but we really weren't ABSOLUTELY sure. Now its somewhat comfirmed. We've only heard this from people who have been to the park and are just making guesses. Although it was obvious that its for the train to be put on, at least we have something else that gives us confirmation about this. And I'm also stating that Screamscape changed what they said from two days ago.

Im only a kid. GEEZ!

What, do you think Lance got a call from the park and they said, "Hey, about your Screamscape entry for our park, that piece of missing track isn't bad news, it's so we can put the train on!" Sorry, that's not how it works. Lance posted that it didn't look good because he wasn't considering the options (what a missing piece of track means). I'm sure someone pointed out to him what it's for so he changed it. It's hardly confirmation of anything, especially given the fact that the piece has been missing for, what, a month now?

That same "missing" piece was "missing" before they put the trains on in the first place...and miraculously, after the trains were put on the track, the piece reappeared

Please just stop. I simply stated something. Why do you pick on some 13 year old?

And is the train on. It sounds like it in redman's post.

I was referring to when the trains were put on two years ago...not this season.

As far as your age, I a) never made reference to it and b) never looked at your profile. If someone makes a silly post, I'll call them on it, it doesn't matter if the person is 13, 31 or whatever...

I just dont understand why people (not you i guess) have to turn something that maybe everyone knew and is obvious into something that sounds stupid and like an idiot wrote. Sorry. I just want to say that Screamscape changed what they said and it seems MORE confirmed that the track is gone to put thetrain on. Im gettin tired of this so Im just gonna drop it.

I'll be at the park on Monday for updates.

(and redman, I never saw that piece off when they put the train on in 2001 so I really didnnt know even though I thought it was to put the train on.

The piece of track missing doesn't really mean a whole lot guys... They have to take the track piece off to take the train off (which they obviously did during the off-season), so it doesn't mean that they're putting the train on soon... That piece has been missing/off since the season started...
