Wicked Twister

Sorry to break everything up, but...

I say put in a record setting floorless coaster, even bigger then BKF. 230ft 8 inversions going 70 mph. That would make it a hell of a lot better then a ride that i could go to sfwoa to ride. the only difference between the 2 is the spikes.

to stir things up more, sfmm=  no floorless     (not trying to bring up that sfmm vs cp fight or anything)

Being a Cedar Point Ride Op, I've gotta chime in here.  When I was on Raptor, our dispatch interval was 45 seconds.  There was PLENTY of times when there'd be only 4 people checking all the seats and we'd hit intervals no problem.  We'd have plenty of people heading over to put their stuff in one of the boxes and we could still hit it.  And when there was six, it was cake.  We work very hard to make sure our rides run at capacity, and I assure you the crew of WT will do the same.  With six ops on the platfom I don't see it as a problem to hit 55 seconds.  I realize it's not possible to hit intervals every time, but I think once the crew hits it's stride, it'll come pretty easy.

60 seconds is an arbitrary number that has little to do with the actual time required to keep temperatures at a minimum.  Of course, if you wanted to dispatch every 25 seconds, or whatever it is at DCA, you could just hose them down between launches.

Funny, I don't think guests would enjoy getting wet on a rollercoaster. Saying that a rollercoaster designer added a internal timer is arbitrary is like removing a car bumper cuz you don't think it is needed. What you think doesn't matter, it was done for a reason and none of us should question that reason. Obviously the 60 seconds is real since someone else knows about it.

The 60 seconds is important to the ride operation, take it from someone who has keys to the ride, to the controls and to the control room below.
