Yea guys, it's very far from porn. Just appears to be an online gambling site with a clever ad campaign.

See, if this were any other time in the last year, I'd ditch the ad. It isn't really offensive if you ask me, even if it is slightly clever (or naughty) in the wording. But I made $6 in ad revenue yesterday. I'm royally screwed if the ads don't pick up or I get 30 more memberships before the end of the month.

Also, pop-ups reflect the most recent sites you have visited. If you visit porn sites than you will probably get a lot of porn pop-ups.
That's okay though. I just got this new thing that blocks pop-ups. It's great. This is the first time I've been on coasterbuzz without ads.

But that reduces the revenue available to the site. The ads are suggestive, but not obscene. Exploiting the site to blather to the world without helping out with the costs of your yappity-yap just a little--now that's more than obscene. That's just plain foul.
I am a club member who recently began accessing the site via www.coasterbuzz.com because I'm planning a flight and click-throughs help things out.

As CoastaPlaya mentioned, I also always try to click through to other sites from the CBuzz nonmember site, if possible.
Jeff, maybe you should mention which ones help you the most in the weekly newsletter, and encourage members to use the ads on the standard site to click through.
I always start here 1st for travel plans ,for any purpose. I don't usually think about it for other sites, though. I know if I had a reminder, or a specific list, I'd do it more often.

As long as he can keep this site running, he is going to do what he needs to do, and I'll still come here and support this site.
We get news updqates 4-6 days a week and have an out of this world forum community, this site give us all the best and most of what we want, but sadly these forums we love so much, are not cheap with the kind of trafic we get here.
So wou8ld ya rathewr see pop-up ads advertising porn? or no Coasterbuzz.com to see them at?
While some ads are CPC (cost per click-through, meaning I get paid for the click), most are CPM (cost per thousand, meaning I get paid simply for them appearing). However, if a CPM ad isn't clicked on, it's considered by the ad serving software to be ineffective for the audience, so they drop it and continue to run it on other sites. So visiting the sponsors in any case helps.
If you're blocking pop-ups, what few there even are, you're a theif. You're freeloading and taking money away from me.

Playa brings up a good point... I just planned a trip to Florida, and if I would've known that there was a way to do so while helping the site, I would have done it.
Since I have been a CBC member since its inception, however, I no longer have any idea what the ads are for, and quite frankly don't really ever think about checking... that's what I paid the $40 for.
Maybe there could be a page somewhere with just a list of sponsors... a link from the club house page maybe.
Then again, maybe doing all that work wouldn't be worth the extra $1.17 you'd make in a year.
