Where do you think it should go? What park do you think has the room and needs a coaster like this?
Even though it's not a park, I honestly think it should go to Brookfield Zoo. I think it would probably boost their attendence, and it could become like the next Busch Gardens, Tampa. It would be cool to have Shockwave close, instead of being on the other side of the country. I have great distaste for that zoo, and have been there twice, but if they got Shockwave, I'm sure I'd go every other year.

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK
Roast Beef, you're suggesting that Six Flags sell they're mega coaster at a bargain(cause you know they can't afford a real price tag) to a nearby zoo just to create competition against their own park? You'd probably have to donate the coaster to get in there.
Canobie can't go above 80 feet and they had to go through a lot jsut to make Starblaster 100 feet tall which neighbor are already complaining about it's nightly appeal late at night.
Six Flags New England couldn't squeeze that in there if they tried and the odds of getting another coaster soon are highl against us due to nieghbor complaints, parking problems, and traffic control.

SFStl. or SFWOA, I want it to be somewhere close so I can still ride it every year.

for those of you who haven't ridden it, Shockwave is NOT your average arrow mega-looper. this b*tch needs some MAJOR work to be passed off as a new attraction.... even at a second-rate park.
it is/was in pretty bad condition and all I can say is that if that was the newest ride at my park i'd be pretty disappointed (even though it is Shockwave)
hopefully they'll do some refurbishment of it. at least to smooth it up a bit...
you can never get what you want..... Shockwave's got forcefullness and roughness..... the Bull's got neither. i'd love to actually feel some G's on a coaster again someday.
(in other words it'd be a great, intense attraction if they smoothed some of the bumps)
at the moment, a 13 year old coaster in that shape won't be goin to any decent park w/o some work.
With Jazzland getting a B&M invert anyway I don't think it'd be a good deal to put a Arrow Mega Looper there, but what do I know? Likewise, with SFAW already having a couple loopers, Shockwave is the last thing they need.
Great Escape, in my opinion, would be the best place for the blue beast.

They have an Arrow multi-looper that's for the sh*ts!! The capacity is a "nightmare" (no pun intended). It takes like 10 minutes to load & unload that stupid train, and goes for a 1-minute ride... it's pathetic, for as nice as a paint job as they did...
Shockwave is a 3-train capacity monster! 2000 people per hour is great.
I think they really, really need it. It's a move that WOULD, in theory, be a smart move, only because they are in dire of some new rides. It may be a family park, but they DO want to keep those families there for the whole day, and with some clever last-minute planning and shuffeling of rides... they could make this happen.
Otherwise, I cannot figure out any other park that not only needs it, but can fit it in their park... unless that EVIL La Ronde park in Montreal gets it.....

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.
Come on Roast Beef!!! Lets get realistic here. Putting a coaster of that magnatude in a zoo that has no expertise in the field of amusement parks? Until it becomes Busch Gardens "Brookfield", it wont ever get any ride of that stature.
If you want to have it stay in the area, you might want to think about Santa's Village or Kiddieland and even that is a stretch.
Why do you have a distate for Brookfield? That is a world class zoo bar none.

That is one large coaster. I think it would be nice for SFEG since SF doesn't seem to like to spend money on the park anyways, but they don't have near amount the space that thing takes up.Personally, I would rather see EG get a B&M.
If SFKK has the room and can get approval for it with their height restrictions, I could see it there. Otherwise Astroworld if they have the room.
I have trouble seeing SF giving it to Jazzland, they are already getting a B&M, let them enjoy that.

Great Escape will *not* get a huge megalooper because it is going to remain a family-oriented park. Plus, I'm pretty sure they don't want it.And Vertigo, you're wrong about Canobie - nobody is complaining about Starblaster. Check it out: http://www.canobie.com/laser.html

So you're comparing a new articles to my first person accounts LOL!!! I have first hand accounts with plenty of neighbors ,including Johnny who lives across the lake, who are complaining about the flashing laser lights. The back of Johnny's house faces the park and he loves looking out at the park but that green light is so annoying when you're trying to stay focused or fall asleep. And no complaints is bo-log-na. There have been plenty of appeals, none strong enough to force removal but plenty of appeals no less.
