I'm not an enthusiast. I just play one on message boards.
Looking at CP's site, they say WT has a theoretical of 1,210pph. The op I talked to on the Wed before SRM said they get about 850 - 900pph usually (there wasn't even a line when I rode though, so I couldn't tell how fast they'd get them out).
Also, he said that the mandatory 1min cooldown was in effect on that ride as well (as it was on SFGAm's V2).
I'm assuming (naughty me, I know) that Steel Venom has the same one minute cooldown period. Given SFGAm's (remember, they're the "same ride") V2 ride cycle at just about 60 seconds launch to park, that means they can send out maximum of 30 trains in one hour.
If every single seat were filled, that would be 30 (trains) multiplied by 28 (riders per train) in one hour. Or a grand total of 840pph. Over 110pph short of the listed capacity, and that's if they hit 60sec interval each and every time.
Now do you see what I'm saying? It doesn't hit 950pph ever, no matter how hard you want it to.
EDIT: Dude, stop editing your posts and adding three paragraphs of stuff you *think* is funny but makes you look like a fool. You're making this more complicated than it needs to be.
About the 3M thing...I dunno, working at the park for five years (It *was* a 3M a year park, hasn't been for a few years now though) and talking to management about those numbers might make me KINDA know what I'm talking about, wouldn't you say?
But I'm sure ignoring that fact and coming up with some more inane blather is what you're bound to do anyway.
If it was anymore obvious about the capacity not being 950pph on Steel Venom, well, someone needs to take your cape away.

You don't have one. Mine (had you of course, read and comprehended before posting) was that it's silly to complain about SV's queues when SFGAM has the same ride in a park with triple the annual attendance.
Of course, banging someone's head against reality is silly when they live in a dream world to begin with....

I believe that means my work is through here. Thanks, it's been real, Playa. Til next time.

Playa,
I'd like to see your response to how SV will acheive their numbers they claim. He's basically broken it down to a 60 minute segment and the potential it might possess. Debunk, please.

Like I said wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back on my second or third post on my thread--at the risk of repeating myself yet again (and again)--my only point was SV is fine for a park that gets a million to 1.2 million peeps a year. Half the weekends, VF can get away with single train operation(theoretical capacity 600 pph) on Corkscrew and Excalibur. Of course, you're always welcome to come crap your day away sitting at the exit counting people cuz I bet they don't hit their numbers either. That would make all the difference in the world to uh, somebody that gives a rip?

I'm not quite so sure SFoG's is running! I went there twice last week, and they actually said over the phone to my friends that DV was running, and "running very well."
We get there, and guess what? Closed, and has been closed the whole day.
Since I got back from my trip I haven't checked, but I'm sick of driving over there and finding it closed, so I think I just won't go. :)

'I'm not being defensive! You're the one who's being defensive! Why is it always the other person who's being defensive? Have you ever asked yourself that? Why don't you ask yourself that?'
Does anyone else remember this one?
Can't wait til I'm older so I'll "have a life," too.
ROFL, too funny! :)

I can't see how any functional guy can't be casually pretending not to check out some hot girl instead...but that's just me I guess.
-'Playa
(who frankly spends more time in the waterpark where he shows up anyway--more attractions there?)

BTW, when I was at SFGAM a couple weeks ago, V2 was launching no more than once every 2.5 or 3 mins.

(btw, I don't sit there counting people, I asked "how many peeps per hour does this thing do?" It's called interacting with people, quite fun! But you just oogle the ladies, don't bother talking!)
