What's Next for Valleyfair!

Super Saturators ARE technically inverted, right...;)

EVERY park should get one, mOOSH (yes, even those that HAVE one).....dueling FSSs for everyone!

bill, vaguely aware that Intamin hasn't built an FSS....yet...;)

Bill, needs to go to bed and get some sleep - he's getting goofy. :)

Getting? I think it's a pretty good bet that I *started* that way....;)

Since KBF has TWO launches already, are we going to see a non-launched Intamin invert in the states? I'm all for it!

I would almost think that if KBF wanted anything significant they would almost have to go with Intamin for an invert. B&Ms take up a lot more room than an Intamin, at least what I have seen.

"There's no way they could shoehorn a giga into KBF. They would have more than enough problems getting a hyper in there."

Sorry, Swoosh, but your wrong.

Thanks Moosh. ;)

Well maybe a little short on being right, but I am never wrong. Still, I will bite - how exactly can they fit a 300' coaster into KBF without using a shoehorn?

Yep, I do - and the sooner you realize that CPlaya, the better off you'll be.

As for latest news. I went to WOF Sunday, and there are indeed markers out for the underground wiring. I'm not sure how long they have been there, but they are there.

To bat the flam a little, like stated before - one CF:LP park is getting an inverted next year. KBF has been rumored to get a coaster next year, HOWEVER, they are removing Hammerhead and you know something will have to go there (rumored right now to be a top spin) so that leaves......

Hmmmm--I seem to recall VF's (formerly CP's) Bayern Kurve being removed and replaced with...timpani please...a rock-climbing wall. But the wall was only there temporarily as it was replaced with...drum roll again...an extreme trampoline.

Again, I don't claim affiliation with any group of 'insiders', industry experts, ACE members, do-it-yourself engineers, blah blah blah. I'm just sayin' removal of a flat ride doesn't prove anything.

-'Playa.

Finally got out to the park with my digital camera and got a shot of one of the groups of flags well the one group that you could actually get a decent shot of

It doesn't exactly "scream" coaster, but it does say that they are doing something

I don't know, Swoosh...the flags on those wood sticks are orange, and we all know that that means!

ORANGE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
That changes everything.
YEAH!

Personally I got no clue, but, orange flags are fun.

So are all of us in the midwest automatically in the "League of Extraordinary Midwest Coaster Consultants, DemiGods and Would-Be Legendary Industry Insiders" or only the ones that repeat hearsay?
Need a ruling and clarification.

Jim "not a fan of generalizations" Wolgamuth

After being at Valleyfair last week, I think they need some good medium sized wood, rather than an invert. Not that I'd complain if they got anything.

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Deja Vu / Mr. Freeze (tie)

JWolg: Only official members of the LEMCCDWBLI2 are recognized as such. Ask Swoosh about membership details.

Jim - Membership into the LEMCCDWBLI is highly selective and right now there are only two members in this elite organization (Swoosh Shady and Captain Obvious). However you can be on the waiting list if you would like. ;) I swear CO, some of the things you come up with.

And Moosh, Orange makes all the difference.

Jim, please don't cry. If you promise to stop pouting I will let you into the highly selective LEMCCDWBLI. OK? ;)

I want VF to get a B&M inverted coaster first then

a medium size wood coaster (3K ft.range) or a

small family wood coaster.

VF is my home park and I rode Talon the first

year it open and it is excellent ride.

My favorite inverted is Raptor at CP.

VF don't need another shuttle one shuttle is enough.

I prefer Raptor clone over a Talon clone but

I take a Talon clone too.
