Why would I lose it? I know where it is. It's on a server in Phoenix.

I know a lot of things about what's going on in the industry. However, in order to preserve certain relationships, I have to keep my mouth shut.

Like I've said, those who know don't talk, those who talk don't know.

I thought you would respond to that :)

Of course I am being stereotypical on what COULD happen (especially with certain companies) (lawsuits, etc.)

I think it is time we all go out and get some ice cream!!!!!!!!!! I scream, you scream, we scream.....for ...........roller coasters. HA had ya fooled didnt I.

Jeff,
I thank you for this site and how that despite your knowledge of what might be going into several parks in the next few years that you keep your silence. You are a true professional. I would rather have Cedar Point pull a SFGADV on us than to find out now and mull in the anticipation than to know now and realize I actually have to wait to ride it. LOL! I honestly dont know that I could keep something like a new coaster under wraps very long...I would be just too excited about it. Even if it was a go gator. LOL!

But for laughs....what if they put in a mini-Millenium...for the kiddies. That would be pretty neet. Or even a mini-Raptor. Yes I would like to see a new woodie at CP. But they will announce whatever they are going to do when they are ready to do so. So until then lets all go get some ice cream.

I think mini raptor would be a great idea, as long as a big coaster comes with it.
Hmmm, I think this is a big possibility for certain subject...

Well, after seeing the success of RRR at PKI, why not have CP build a "mini" Raptor? A family-sized invert would fit perfectly into CP's lineup. It'd be the next step for kids after Woodstock Express, before they start riding the big ones.

They could race each other since they'll have the same layout. But I don't know since they already have a family suspended. ;)

I want a larger scale premier launch with lapbars.
One more thing, it should be outside on millennium island.
I can see a new protoype coming to Sandusky in 2002. I mean Ohio in general almost has all the different models of steel coasters: inverted, floorless, sit-down, standup, and flying. What else is there for Sandusky to take?
The TA2J Would be nice, Ruff...but in my opinion, I think they will go with the CCI woodie..

mikey :)
I am not going to guess what they are getting, because frankly I have no idea. I am not going to say what I want them to get, because whatever I say I know that The Point will come up w/ something ten times better than what I could ever think of.

It's a new day, time for a new thesis. 417 ft. tall. 107 mph. Intamin "Rocket" coaster. Will have the word 'black' in the name, maybe something like 'black phantom', or 'black hole' but no 'the' in front of it. It will be announce on the last day of July, and be finished next July. Believe me on this one.

I posted this at GTTP a few days ago, and thought I would post it here too.

Here's my prediction.

Alright, we know that a footer 75x50 feet and 30 feet deep isn't there just for show. This thing is massive!. The largest footers for MF were, I believe 56x56 and 25~ feet deep. Now we can judge that the footer being so much larger will support something much larger.

I say that Cedar Point moves Troika beside the Super Himalaya, or in that general vacinity, and Chaos is moved beside the bathrooms beside Magnum. There are several queues that are no longer in use behind those bathrooms that could make room for Chaos/ be used for the ride itself.

This frees up a huge straightaway for the coaster. For a launched ride like an Intamin "rocket coaster" the longer the straightaway, the longer the acceleration, the faster the coaster. I say that the estimates for a coaster 100+ mph/ 400+ ft aren't far off in estimation. A vision I had of the ride that would be very cool is to have the large "Area 51" footer as one of the support bases for an inverted tophat like on Xcelerator. Then the other tower would be on the island between MF's overbank and the lagoon. There would be a huge amount of unsupported track, but Intamin's box trusses have proven themselves. As for the elements after this, I have no clue, and just assume wait for the announcement.

I think that Xcelerator was a large scaled guinea pig for Cedar Fair to see how it was received by the public. If I'm wrong, then they are really doing a good job keeping things under wraps, but if I'm right then we will se something insane that will change the skyline of Cedar Point and reaffirm its status as America's Rollercoast!

It may be a new day, but 107mph is not going to make it over a 417ft hill, trust me.

...Expect the ride to be somewhat shorter than that, and a little bit faster...

You knew me; I didn't know you; I knew you not. I met you, and I no more knew you not. Now I know you, I wish I knew you not. You wish you didn't not knew me not?

That's what I thinking Outkast, S:TE is 415 and its 100mph doesn't make it near the top.
