Not getting no where? So are you saying that we are getting somewhere ar not? I have to laugh at your double negitive while telling fellow buzzers what to do. I vote to ignore you.
Okay so now I'll give my 2 cents. CP could very well be up to something big but we don't really know. I sure hope they are building an intimin rocket coaster. I would love to see its overbanked turns twisting through and around MF on the island.
TA2Ks don't really get me overly excited but what do I know, I haven't been on one yet.
Even if it's "just a flat ride" I'll be happy, especially if it's of the HUSS GIANT variety.

My guesses: either a DropZone/Roto-Drop of amazing proportions, or an Air-Thrust/Hypersonic type coaster.

but yet, I get my ass chewed for not doing a search first

Why do they report power outages on TV?
Most fanboys don't drink, which is fine, because I don't want the bastards taking up seats at Bubbles or the Breakers Friday's.

It probably will be tall and fast like Screamscape said, but trust me, the guy who "told" Screamscape" doesn't really know anything about what the ride will be, other than it's tall, it's fast.
Want my advice? Just let it go. That way, even if the new 2003 attraction isn't what you want it to be, you won't be dissapointed.
One more thing to chew on: Cedar Point is park that runs entirely on formulas and history books. I can't think of any reason why Cedar Point would want to stop using a time proven method, especially with attendence at parks this last year as wonky as it has been.

I happen to know the guy who submitted that item to Screamscape, thank you very much.

Ok but even if you say the source is unreliable, if you look at all the arguements "for" that have been presented, they all point to a bigger Xcelerator. Cedar Fair's parks seem to all have at least one baby version of CP's rides - that Knott's was just a test bed fits that.
The footers are spaced as they'd need to be to support a large tower that would shoot up right there from a launching point somewhere on Millennium Island or perhaps from along the Magnum Midway.
CP likes having the best and the biggest - they already have the biggest (and argueably best) "standard" coaster, now it's time for them to conquer the launched category.
I think that this argument carries the most weight of any presented since May ...

Your right Coasterr, I was just saying that to impress you and a bunch of other total strangers so that maybe you guys would be my friends. Sure, that's it.

What kind of comment is that? I suspect his children and wife don't think he is gay.

How do you know they don't drink? Did you take a survey? And CP fanboys or fanboys in general are bastards? But, I would guess they would still serve Sprites and Cokes with cherry and vanilla flavoring and several other non-alcoholic "exotic" drinks or beverages in general, so I don't think that poses a problem.

Well, at CoasterMania (the day that includes more fanboys than any other), Tim, Pete and myself were in Friday's from 7 to 10, and during that time we encountered two other attendees.
And that's only half of it... when the park closes, you'll be hard pressed to get a group to go out and party. Instead the suggestion is to go to Denny's or Steak-n-Shake or some such thing.
Besides, half of the fanboys aren't old enough to drive or vote, let alone drink.
