What's CP building right now by Magnum?

Hello Coaster Fans Who Are Busy planning their weekend,

I was wondering if anyone could help me here. What is CP building between Magnum and Woodstock Express? For those who don't know CP took out the Dogems and has a HUGE wall surrounding the area as seen here:

In this picture:

All you can see is dirt and what looks to be maybe a sewer or some type of footing...hard to tell. I was wondering if this is the restaraunt CP talked about building about a year ago? Also is it confirmed that the Dogems went to MA? Thanks for any help! And see ya around at the Point!!

It's obviously that wooden inverted 11-looping Z&N tera-coaster that CP was contracted to purchase.

It is going to be an entire Dippin Dots themed restaurant with 20 games of DDR there as well :)

It really does look like some footers!
As Mr. Kevin Reid said, "It's for a machine that will help stop Magnum from sinking." :)

Here's an insanely helpfull link for you all. It's being discussed heavily over at GTTP. http://www.guidetothepoint.com/cpplace.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=7645

Pearl Jam + Roller Coasters = Heaven on Earth. :)

My 2 cents on the whole thing.

1) They originally wanted to build a restaraunt.

2) CP hasn't built a carnival ride in quite some time (last addition was Chaos)...so what better place with a little opened up land? What rides have 3 footers?

We'll soon find out...

Whatever it is, it's big!

Its a really big area for just a flat ride. Plus that would make three flats all in a row (Troika and Chaos are right there). It just wouldn't look right. I don't think its going to be a store or restaurant either, they didnt put a big fence up when they were building Johnny Rockets did they. I think not.

Life is a roller coaster Ride It!

Isn't that were Drachen Fire is going? :)

As Mr. Kevin Reid said, "It's for a machine that will help stop Magnum from sinking."

The funny thing is that over at URC one poster thought I was serious.

Those really look like they could be footers to a Slingshot ride much like the one PKI put in this year
Um Joey, who says it will "just" big a flat ride? Didn't PKI teach us anything? ;)

i am trying to visuallise where it is, becuase i haven't been to cp yet. It is between magnum and woodstock express, but aren't they across the path from each other. Would it be just to the side of the entrance to the paddlewheel excursion? Help me out! Anyway if i had to take a guess what it was, just from the photos, I would have to say it will be a carnival ride, nothing to big. They will not put in a major coaster their obviously because of WT. That is my input, and just remember this:

I told everyone all along that tomb raider: the ride would be a topspin, from day one, just remember that!

I like the DDR idea best :P

With footers that big it's no restaurant. With an area that big, it's no spinning ride. We all want a coaster, but it's probably a pay-per-ride thing from S&S. If it were a coaster why build now? The interesting thing is this site is always brought up in rumors for a new coaster. It will make for fun talk.
