track for an Thrust Air could be going anywhere. Just cause track is being produced doesn't automatically mean it's for CP - plus the location of those footers would have to be for a turn or something - to put an Thrust Air in right there would require the movement of a lot of that section of the park - again unless those are footers for a turn, but it doesn't make engineering sense to have only three footers for a turn - thats a LOT of force on a small area
The footers are obviously for a typical, huge, world-class coaster - the kind everyone always expects from CP, right?
That's what you guys want, right? Then surely that must be what it is.
I see the drool coming out of your mouths. Keep dreaming. After all, CP doesn't have enough world-class coasters, does it?
Sorry for the sarcasm.....but everytime someone burps up there, you guys start salivating.
I think I agree with Jeff - sounds like ...sigh.... just a disappointing sling shot.

The rumor has ended with this confirmed information.
Ahahahahahahahahahaha! Please tell me you didn't say that with a straight face.
This thread stays open so we can all enjoy a few more laughs...

I have no clue what CP is up to now but don't you think they could clear a little extra land for a Chance Revolution? That is the best flat ride on mother earth!

RAD - I was wondering about that, too. The PKI thread [and other similar threads] was closed quite quickly yet there has been a glut of CP speculation threads and only a few have been squished, with many of them blooming into multi pages.
Why the differential treatment? Is there a difference I'm not seeing other than this one is about CP? Just curious....

Screamscape:said.....Your not going to believe the latest rumor that Screamscape has received, but my gut is telling me that we may be on to something BIG. Really big... like a new world record in roller coaster height. The coded message was brief but right to the point: “Think Knott’s. Think Intamin. Think tallest ride in the park and think fast.”
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Ok, so my first one may have drawn some people off, but I'm serious, CP is building an Intamin rocket coaster (think KBF's Xcelerator) for 2003, which may or may NOT be over 300 feet.
Did anyone save any of the webcams?

Who can go a whole day at MiA riding Timbers ONCE? Repeat after me: "I hate parent chaperones"
Wouldnt two LIM launched coasters juice a lot of energy? Isnt that what makes impulses so expensive so I would think that two would really raise the electric bill.
Rocket coasters are not LIM launched, they have a hydrolic launch.
Electric bills probably aren't that big a worry. Heck, PKD has 2 LIM coasters (One has two sections of LIMS!), and an air launched coaster.

Well apparently Burks feels that giving opinions on the Coasterbuzz boards is a bad thing. Well if thats so everyone give up your accounts because unless you have provable facts, you are no longer allowed to express opinions on this site!!! Why can't we speculate? It's fun to think about what it might be!
