What's CP building right now by Magnum?

track for an Thrust Air could be going anywhere. Just cause track is being produced doesn't automatically mean it's for CP - plus the location of those footers would have to be for a turn or something - to put an Thrust Air in right there would require the movement of a lot of that section of the park - again unless those are footers for a turn, but it doesn't make engineering sense to have only three footers for a turn - thats a LOT of force on a small area

The footers are obviously for a typical, huge, world-class coaster - the kind everyone always expects from CP, right?

That's what you guys want, right? Then surely that must be what it is.

Maybe someone will post pictures of a truck driver with magically moving trains that don't need to be strapped down - that would also provide confirmation! Long live the fire streak rumors - in circulation for 4 years and counting!

Just as a matter of curiosity, why are some people so annoyed by rumor threads? It's called General "Buzz". What else are we suppsoed to "Buzz" about other than rumors? It's fun to analyze something like this one that we have a tiny bit of hard evidence. The PKI rumor just didn't make sense, it was totally "out there" but this one has been raging since May. Personally I like reading what everyone thinks is going there, and their reasons why ... and then the people who tell them why they're wrong and why ... then some guy sees a trucker in the parking lot and takes a "picture" ...

Well the cement truck I seen was on webcam, a couple of other people also saw it. I just saw it again today and everynight watch the lights in the woods they change every once in awhile, like there working out there. So there pouring something in a different area, not just where the 2 footers were, the third is a tarp thought to be a footer. If people have seen nothing new done inside the fence area, and yet there is cement trucks back in the woods by ID then its not a thrill ride.

I just got back from CP. I looked at that mysterious wall and in my mind it is not a place to eat because it has 3 footers... too big to be a carny ride... and may just be the wooden inverted coaster that cp has been talking about.

I have no clue what CP is up to now but don't you think they could clear a little extra land for a Chance Revolution? That is the best flat ride on mother earth!

RAD - I was wondering about that, too. The PKI thread [and other similar threads] was closed quite quickly yet there has been a glut of CP speculation threads and only a few have been squished, with many of them blooming into multi pages.

Why the differential treatment? Is there a difference I'm not seeing other than this one is about CP? Just curious....

Ok, so my first one may have drawn some people off, but I'm serious, CP is building an Intamin rocket coaster (think KBF's Xcelerator) for 2003, which may or may NOT be over 300 feet.

Wouldnt two LIM launched coasters juice a lot of energy? Isnt that what makes impulses so expensive so I would think that two would really raise the electric bill.

Rocket coasters are not LIM launched, they have a hydrolic launch.

Electric bills probably aren't that big a worry. Heck, PKD has 2 LIM coasters (One has two sections of LIMS!), and an air launched coaster.

Well apparently Burks feels that giving opinions on the Coasterbuzz boards is a bad thing. Well if thats so everyone give up your accounts because unless you have provable facts, you are no longer allowed to express opinions on this site!!! Why can't we speculate? It's fun to think about what it might be!

They sure went to a lot of work laying power supply lines when they put Wicked Twister in, maybe they made it able to handle another LIM coaster.
