The CCI design was about 80% if not more the same design as the original Ravine Flyer, where as this new design by Gravity Group is more modern, and in my opinion, more exciting (at least from what we have seen so far.)
The old design for Ravine Flyer II.

There is one thing that I'm thinking about as they start the station. Because it is a smaller park, will there be selective seating? I hope there is.
(not the best quality(giant Eagle forgot to make me a CD))

Just my opinion, PTC would do itself a favor by donating the difference in cost to this project.
Ok, anywho, since the last post in this thread on the 15th a couple of sites have either changed or added new photos.
The link from Waldameers website was broken for about a week but it is now fixed and two new photos were added on the 25th of the area around the station, find them HERE.
Rsscbell added a couple of pics from a distance, I'm guessing the Tom Ridge center, on the 20th. Find them HERE.
Zboyd's page hasn't been updated since the 15th but for those of you who haven't seen his pics, including a couple of nice renderings, you can find them HERE.

Not that there's any hurry, or anything. They just want to make sure to leave enough time to replace the heartline roll before June. ;)

1.) This coaster is definitely living up the Gravity Group name with extreme banking and fast paced hills and elements.
2.) The coaster is still on schedule for its opening which is planned in April, before park actually opens to the public.
The media day will be similar to Cedar Points, with the first rides auctioned off to the highest bidder, benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Also, the tickets for the ride on that day will be $4.50 each, $3.50 of which will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Everything sounds and looks good so far. Another good usage of NoLimits for corporate use. Unlike the use in say, Fahrenheit, or even Led Zeppelin.
Oh, long asked question, the bridge will be constructed in late December / early January.

I hate to sound negative, but I give this ride three years until I will cringe getting onto it. Seems like Every GG/CCI coaster I ride gives me headaches after their first few years of service. This includes most of their coaster I have ridden that have ever been in the top ten.
Can't say that I can't wait to ride this one though, I live in Pittsburgh and my family is still in Erie. I will be making plenty of day trips back home next summer to get on it while its new. I honestly haven't ridden a year one woody since Mean Streak.
As a computer, he was just okay. ;)

Oh, the announcer reminded of that one commercial with Ben Stein when he said WOW....in that low, monotone voice. LOL!
