Valleyfair getting a new coaster or not???

So... we have track, we have rumors, and we have a location. When I go to Valleyscare on October 8th, I'll tell you guys (and girls?) if I see anything.

Damn, Swoosh; that's almost worse. ;)

We have track? What?

Well would you rather me say it in another language?

Caca? Merde? Scheiße? De drol? Merda? дерьмо? Dritt?

Or pick me out a word to use from the poop thesaurus ;)

Ich mag Scheiße am besten. ;) This conversation is going down the toilet. ;)

WT unarticulated trains make the turnaround so jerky. WT just sucks. So does Corkscrew. So does the GINORMOUS trim on Excalibur. So do the trims on High Roller.

Please, give us a good steel.

I don't understand the thrill of non-prefab wood coasters. The roughness just sucks.

^Spoken like a true GCII virgin.

AV, well Scheiße it is then. :)

Ok...enough with the poop now. :) Ok... so yes, we do have track and now the rumor is that it'll be somewhere between 100-130 ft. tall.

You have track? So then it's definitely not a woodie. Scheiße! :(

Rob Ascough said:Not only do GCII's hold up very well but the track is so twisted that there really isn't a place for a trim brake!

Don't go telling industry secrets on a public forum like this! ;)

:)

Don't under estimate VF rollergator. Word on the street is that the IMAX will have intermissions next year to keep us from getting too excited.
Scheiße! You have track already? Is it already assembled or is it one of those "some assembly required" type of toys?
Screamscape has confirmed the GCII for VF so I guess it is now official. :)
Well it's not "official" until we see straight up proof. So far, we only have wood. (Which makes a wood coaster ya know)

You hear that Moosh? They've got wood!

Are you sure? I thought you had track? Perhaps it's going to be steel track on a wood structure, ala Excalibur?

I seriously hope it is a wood coaster. That would be swell!

Or a new ice cream stand.
Or 2 new storage buildings. VF were denied a variance from the City of Shakopee to build 2 32' by 40' steel sided storage buildings in May, if not steel then wood? *** Edited 8/31/2006 3:13:46 PM UTC by Timo***

Actually after experiencing the multi-flavor ICEE stand at SFStL last weekend, I hope they get one of those! Grape ICEE = Mmmmmmmmmm. :)

I bet the Grape ICEE guy will know a lot more than the Dippin' Dots guy. That guy will surely have some crazy connections.

With more on the way, or so everyone seems to believe ;)

Yesss. I'm guessing it will probably be a hybrid.
