The top 3 all time cobrarolls.
1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's
The track will be. Jeff's been telling us for a long time that it will top S:TE's record. (In different words)

Final Deja Vu Count for the 2002 Season: 52
SFGAm CoasterWorld
I agree with rollrcoastr00. I am not denying that the ride will be over 400' I am sure it will. But a top hat attatching to the top of that can not be over 415'.
although just wild dreaming, wouldn't it be incredible to have a loop at the top of the structure???

Each section of the tower is 50-52' each. We found this out EARLY into construction when the park was still open. I remember walking past the construction site when only one section was up and thinking that was huge (it really was), there are now EIGHT sections up.
Right now, the tower is 400-416' feet high. The webcams do it no justice whatsoever. This thing is massive, it is also double the width of Power Tower.
Not another post pointing buzzers to GTTP!?
Yes it is.
Regarding the final height: Jeff spilled about as much of the beans as he could without flat out telling what he knows in this thread
To sum it up, there were some guesses going around (as usual). Someone (using the name Scottie Rock) guessed 112 mph, 428 height and 355 drop.
Jeff's reply was simply: "A little faster, a little shorter, a little longer"
After that the guesses really began and not too much farther in the thread (the last post on page 2), Jeff then teases even more by revealing that someone has indeed nailed it correctly.
No mystery on the height though, I can't believe anyone ever thought it wouldn't be higher than 415. The one piece of ssemi-reliable info from "those who know" from the start was that the height record would no longer be disputed.

And that's why people always mention how CP and SFMM are in competition.
The ride will top the 415ft. mark to establish a record. IMO, CP and SFMM aren't really competing for patrons but for records. If PKI built a 500ft. coaster I'm sure CP or SFMM would try to top it and people would say those 2 parks are now in competition.
Any word as to the cost of this coaster?
I'm going to go with the "pole out the top" theory, where a support will jut out the top of the tower and hold the crest of the tophat, maybe two supports. With CP, anything's possible!
One thing's for sure. It will be the tallest rollercoaster over S:TE. Remember, S:TE's STRUCTURE is 415 ft. The ride itself goes 329 ft., meaning this is the highest you can get on a rollercoaster (don't you dare make drug references to that).
