The real "What is Holiday World up to?" thread

We always take you serious, your a *legend* on this site. If we didn't take you serious, do you think we would have taken all of your hints, and come up with all of the wonderful ideas that we have given you for the '06 expansion.

Life is an amusment park -and I can't get off of the damn spinning teacups!
Paula -
Since all of this happened while you were busy meeting with a ride manufacturer, I have a sugestion. Hire me to come and work in the PR department. (I live close by and I really hate my job.) That way, while you are doing other stuff, I could monitor this site and keep everyone in line. I would also be willing to ride the coasters and the spinning rides with the writers so that you could keep your feet planted safely on the ground. (I know it would be rough, but I would be willing to do it for the team.) Let me know where to send my resume.

Get in line, KtR!
I am in line, right behind Bob the Rock and the Hoosier Daddy.

Paula, if there is a post or two here that is keeping you from linking to the holiblog, I am sure whoever posted it would be willing to help you out. I know I would delete any post you requested via PM or whatever. If you really need to get this thread cleaned up, don't be afraid to ask.

^^Bill... I won't be there, no matter how much butt kicking or kissing. I am in Jeff's wedding party that weekend in New Orleans. Sorry. :)

BTW, I edited out my potentially offensive posts, so don't get too confused everyone! *** Edited 6/29/2005 3:26:53 AM UTC by nasai***

The Flying Turns makes all the right people wet - Gonch

Could it be a water coaster like BuzzSaw Falls?

Damn Cornfields

A water woodie?

It is a FACT that The Voyage is the greatest thing on the planet!!
Phooey on you Matthew! I deleted mine too. :)

All clear on my end! I think...;)

Can't keep Paula from being able to make use of all this "free publicity", LOL...

I still say there are two (or more) *distinct additions*, not one ride that works in HW and SS (like a S-t-C or FSS might).
For those literate in gatorese, that goes like this: HW *and* SS, not "HW and SS"...;)

And in regards to working at HW's PR dept., I told Paula I "wanted her job" YEARS ago. So long ago, in fact, that Holidog was still "wet behind the ears"....ouch! :)

If we are talking about the Eagles Flight....

Seriously, Paula. Keep your current Flyers if ONLY the other option is o replace them with the Larson ones.

The Larson ride has no advantages in capacity and they have these seatbealts that the ride opt has to unlock. So it makes it worse. Plus, why spend the money on something you have, especially a not-so-improved version?

^The Larsen version at CC had the seatbelt covers taken off so you can unlock them yourself now. I think they ride just fine and are very snapable.

If what my brother did at hershey can be called snappable. Id call it unbelievable as in a 15ft bounce off the bottom.

Larsons are fine.
but I'd rather that ten tub version :)

Who says its the flyers? Sellner makes themed Tilt-a-Whirls.
Hey, that would go great with a Valentine's theme!

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
Here we go again. ;)
Okay, Okay - I'll be a good boy and clean up my posts. But if Paula doesn't link us to Holibog, I'm putting them back!

Larsons may be snappable, but according to the manual on that ride, Snapping is NOT recommended. They are not designed to snap, and could lead to potential incidents.

Thats my reasoning.

If that policy has been canceled, then I'll have to take new Flying lessons from your brother.
You still need to show me how to snap Strickers.

As for CC's flyers having the belt lock removed: Bravo! Im glad to see someone has finally done that.
After riding two different Larson ones within 3 years of each other, on different coasts, and seeing that same belt lock, I thought it would have been standard.

But still, why replace an 8-tub with an 8-tub, unless it's more cost-effectibe to go with new?

If it is indeed the Flyers they are looking to move or upgrade..... but I think it is....

Now see what you all have done. Make us clean up our conversation, now Paula won't come and visit us, and everyone else is scared to hit the "submit reply" button. Not a new post for almost 6 hours. This is not going to work. I got so tired of waiting for someone to post this afternoon that I shut down my computer and did some work. My boss was confussed. When we were allowed to talk about water woodies, Hosier Daddy, and Jungle Jets, everyone was happy. Now everyone has moved to other threads to talk about other stuff. I even found someone that was so bored that they had started posting about KK. (I refused to join that conversation.) Please come back. Please talk about HW's new TGG woodie in the new Thanksgiving Section. I would even enjoy a post about Splashing Safari. And I promise not to mention (edited for Paula), or (edited for Paula) or (edited for Paula) again.

(If I knew how to make one of those cute little smiley faces that everyone likes to put at the end of a post when they are just kidding I would put it here. Maybe I will ask my kids tonight where the "face" button is so that I can use it next time) *** Edited 6/29/2005 10:46:28 PM UTC by Kraven the Raven***
