The real "What is Holiday World up to?" thread

Been too busy. We were out East last month getting photos and this month we have been busy with Summer School and then media days for this and that. Still haven't got media day stuff up for Kids' Fest at SDC (oh well). We are planning on going up there in early July though. Is it fun?

If you'll pardon the pun: HELL YES! My trip report will be posted soon but let me just say this: Hades' tunnel is the first time I've truly been frightened on a coaster in a long, long, long time. I've been awake since 7am yesterday and should be in bed but I can't stop thinking about it.

Oh, and Avalanche was f'in amazing, too!

I look forward to going to Hell, er, Hades.....sometime in August. That good, huh Moosh? From what I have heard it's very much *my* type of wood. I can't wait!

Saturday night as we were walking out of the park, we asked Will when there will be announcement about expansion. He said announcement would be July 13. Freakin Sweet.

Next question...is that date news to Paula? :)

That's just the date to tell us what date it is that you've decided to hold a meeting to decide when the press conference is, so you can leak out just a few more clues about when the ACTUAL announcement will be....LOL!

Hopefully they won't wait until the ride is topped off to make the announcement ;) The anticipation is K-I-L-L-I-N-G me!! Whatever it is, I'm sure its enough for the wife and I to drive the 6 hours out there.

From what I'm reading in Moosh's TR on Hades it looks like TGG coaster is the way to go!

Moosh, he has been hounding her for weeks basically calling her a liar again and again enough where despite the cute smiley faces its beginning to look mean spirited and I'm getting tired of it.

I just got married May 13th, Cindy and I celebrated our first month anniversary last monday. We actually celebrated another thing that day and since I am now officially able to "spill the beans"

The Willi family will have a new addition of their own in 2006 because Cindy and I are due to have a baby in February :-D

Hey RavenTTD;

Standing up for someone is not "brown nosing" and I'm not the only one who feels that you're attacking her. Also taking a poke once or twice is in good fun myself included and that's cool but three or more times is mean.

Maybe more parks would post or be open to enthusiasts if we didn't have people hounding them with inane questions or getting on their backs because as in business things come up and plans change.

Come on now - Can't we just all get along??

It's not Paula's fault that they can't find the state official they are looking for the big announcement. I live in Indiana and none of us know where our state officials are. And if we are all real nice to her, the next time we are at the park maybe she will treat us to free soft drinks and ride the new coaster with us.

Do I get a prize? I just started page 33 of this thread. I was thinking like a big plush or Bob the Rock.
