The real "What is Holiday World up to?" thread

Well, I'm left to suppose the big bird reference is more for Splashin' Safari. Going with a Valentine's Day section, shouldn't it include an Arrow coaster? ;) How about a ride based on the Hart to Hart show?

Or one of these!
Still holding out for "Thanksgiving" with the free-unlimited-"Wild Turkey" Oasis

Life is an amusment park -and I can't get off of the damn spinning teacups!
My vote goes for Valentine's Day also. I've heard strong rumor to Thanksgiving Day though, but who knows. I think Valentine's Day would balance out the park more as far as holidays go. I'm excited either way!

By "balance out" do you mean that with the current sections [Halloween, Christmas, and 4th of July] the park is heavy on holidays that fall in the third and fourth quarter of the year and that by adding Valentines day it would help represent the other 6 months of the calendar?
Why not Easter? I mean you could meet BOTH Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
Yes that's kind of what I mean Moosh...a section (Valentine's) to help represent the other side of the calendar. Turkey Day just falls so close in between Halloween and Christmas it would really make the calendar lop sided to me.

Happy Cinco de Mardi Gras? ;)
Please. If you want to say Fat Tuesday in Spanish it is El martes gordo. Translating the Tex-Mex Spanglish that you used above you said the Fat Tuesday of 5, which makes no sense.

Perhaps Feliz el Martes Gordo... ;)

Thats is, Im buying land on the Arizona/Nevada side of the california border.

Hope everything is ok Moosh

Of course, With the leftovers, We will have Turkey Stew at HW.

Swoosh - good point with Easter and the Easter Bunny. Plus they could have egg-shaped cars on their teacups ride, a Frisbee shaped like an easter basket, a pastel-colored carousel, and of course jack Rabbit works for the name of a wooden coaster.

Easter it is. Or Valentines Day. That's my guess: Easter or V-Day, and that's it. Well or Thanksgiving. OK, so I'm guessing Easter, V-Day, or Thanksgiving, and that's it. Opps, add New Years Day. Easter, V-Day, Thanksgiving, and New Years Day, but those are my four guesses. No other guess. Except St Patricks Day. So Easter, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, New Years Day, and St Patty's Day....

Uh, Swoosy? I took Spanish, I already knew that. But I was trying to combine Cinco de Mayo and Mardi Gras as one section where everyone just drinks, throws beads, and flashes a boob. You know, the kind of new section I'd have to avoid? :)
^ I was only playing with you. I knew what you were doing and then exploited it. ;)

I agree with you conclusion Moosh. :)

Sometimes I don't know when you're playing, or just dense ;).

Darn it, I didn't say for you to get the movie refrence, I said for *Moosh* to get it. Grumbles!

Much like Holiday World's new addition next year.

(Apologies Paula, as I'm sure we've now taken this topic way south)

As in South of the Border...as in a Mexican Holiday? ;)
