I don't think we'll make you turn in your enthusiast card just yet, gator. ;)

Offahand - Screechin' Eagle, CI Cyclone, Belmont's Giant Dipper...
Just curious..when was the Coney Cyclone closed for that long a time? I don't remember seeing anything about that.

Ah. I was 6-11. The days before I had any clue there were other roller coasters besides the precious few I'd been on at Uncle Milty's and a small selection of others.

Someday... the Flying Turns. ;)
Would this really qualify, since it has never opened?
Well, it's standing... but not operating... so.. I think?
I'm with Mike on the invert. Kings Island could really benefit from a solid inverted coaster (read: not Invertigo). And for my name, I choose X-Fire Bat Hawk Flight.
I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.
Well technically Flying Turns HAS operated with human passengers (at least two years ago) and since sat SBNO.
A B&M invert is a no-brainer for Kings Island. Really surprised THAT park has gone so long without one.

Long live the Big Bad Wolf
It really wasn’t that bad, it was just kind of meandering through a bunch of rough helixes. Just kind of boring, but a true wooden hyper coaster was rather cool.
Also, bump?
I don't remember the layout being boring, I only remember thinking I was enduring a minute and a half long brain hemorrhage.
The lift was nice and peaceful, though.
I remember my lower back still having a dull pain - over a month later. The third time I rode it in a row (2005; there was NO line, you could exit your seat and get in another) I remember thinking "yeah, that really hurt me this time." My buddy had bailed after ride #1.
It had corners in those helices. Not fun. The lift was fun only because it was very intimidating - steep (fun) loud (NOT fun) and tall (fun), but the rest was pain. RIP you rotten thing.
I found it dreadfully boring after the first drop. Most kiddie/family wood coasters are far more entertaining. I watch the video of the first drop being pulled down for a good chuckle every once in a while.

No, it wasn’t. It was loud as hell and when it rolled off the top there was such a racket I thought I was going to have to break in down below and retrieve something.
There were no redeeming qualities and it was so painful I never got to the boring part. I’ll admit it wasn’t the most thrilling layout.
Vater’s GIF must not be loading for you, RC.
Yes, the lift was hilariously loud. Then the 90 degree turn off the top of the lift before starting the first drop. So. Much. Wood.
Amazing that the ride’s name ended up being like the 6th worst thing about it. My last ever ride on it was in ‘04 if I remember correctly. Awful experience. I was ill for the rest of the day, my face having literally turned a dull shade of green just like the peeps in RCT.

Louder than Raptor?
(I have a few rides on it, but I don't remember much other than having double vision going up the hill after the first drop and into the helix.)
