Where is this "area 51" they're talking about? Any more information for those who haven't been to the park (yet) and haven't seen what people are talking about?

there used to be bumper cars behind the entrance to magnum but they were removed and sent to michigans adventure. It was thought at one point that a resturaunt or something similar was going to be built there but now that area is fenced off and footers were spotted behind the fenced area, now there are these "building for the future" signs...
CP just loves to tease us

Hrm, that area doesn't sound big enough for a coaster.
And yes, CP is running out of room. They almost always remove something in order to put something new in. The list of rides they've gotten rid of is pretty long (the "Jumbo Jet" coaster, the double ferris wheel, the frontier sky ride, jungle larry's, the Pirate Ride, the Aquarium, Cedar Point Cinema, bumper cars... just to name a few).
I remember how Avalanch Run really sucked (too long of a wait for too little payoff), and then they turned it into Disaster Transport (the wait was at least mildly entertaining at first, until they gave up on that part of the "show") and now that sucks. I wish they'd get rid of THAT ride and put in something cool and intense.
I'd love to see a new coaster, but they usually space those out by a year or two, so is it really likely they'll put a new one in the very next year after the Wicked Twister?
CP can build anything whenever they want
and they have PLENTY of room to do it in

CP DOES NOT HAVE A SPACE PROBLEM!!!!
Many of the rides you mentioned were replaced by rides that were just about the same IE Giant Wheel and Double Ferris Wheel. Or Gotten rid of because they were maintainance nightmares like Frontier Lift.
There is plenty of room in the middle of the park down the Frontier Trail and into Frontier Town. There is also plenty of room over towaqrds the kiddie area and we have also seen that they are able to build on the beach.

Every park has plenty of room. Some or more packed than others, but everypark has room. It is just a matter of how imaginitive the designers are. From the looks of it, CP is running out of room. I have never been so I am not sure quite how much room is available. I was watching "Worlds Largest Amusement Park" and it amazed me how much stuff is located on the park itself. It said some dorms for the seasonal employees were both on and off the site. If they completly moved them off the land and provided transportation they could have some room to add stuff. There are probably many other things that could be removed too.

Yeah, but to build on the beach, they take out a section of the beach. To build on frontier trail, they take out trees and sections of frontier trail / frontier town. In the kiddie area? You're kidding me, right? CP does too have a space problem. They can't just drop down a "Beast" sized wooden coaster there any more. Or at most one more, if it's very carefully designed. Look at the hoops they had to jump through to get the Millenium Force to fit in those tight spots! The space on an island is just plain limited. Stating a fact that they are running low on space is not the same as saying they're totally out of space.

They could be seriously thinking about building a coaster over the water, that would be totally awesome, and scary! That would be something definitely for the future!

Or how about "Mean Squeak" ?
Building for the future could mean anything. I certainly hope it will be a coaster, but what ever it will be, I'm sure it will be good. A unique thrill ride would be cool, but whatever it is I can't wait!
