Six Flags Magic Mountain to reclaim coaster crown in 2010

That's great ,and I don't think anyone could fault you for having a good time. That being said, there is an enormous potential here for delivering "constructive criticism" that can make a day at the park even better. "We" (those of us who participate on the site here) are obviously not your average park-goers. But feedback, both positive and negative, can help parks understand better how to attract, and sustain, more visits (and repeat visits) from people who DO qulaify as the average park-goers...

Even those of us who can be VERY hard on the parks also love the industry, the rides, and the parks themselves...but I doubt anyone would prefer a closed park to even "the dregs of the industry". (IMO, AstroWorld definitively took the crown...but that was also based on one two-day visit and not the broad spectrum of what happened *in general* at that park).

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Are they counting superman as a coaster?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yes, they count Superman as a coaster (possibly two...it is twin-tracked).

crazy horse, let's not reopen that stale box of crackers.

As for the name and theme...it was hinted awhile back that the ride would be themed to Mr. Six, but the name is a bit weird to me. Dancecoaster? Wow. At least it's an original name. heh.

I actually love the theme...very creative use of the "shoes."

Not to mention, I love Mr. Six's theme song; it gets me really pumped up and...ready to party. (Or in this case, dance. :))

I'm glad Mr. Six is still alive. Rumors of Mr. Six's demise were greatly exaggerated. lol

I'd rather dance with Mr. Eight.

I once took a dance with Mr. Ten we started off slow very slow dance and ended with the jitter bug lol ;o)~

Mr. Six's Dance coaster looks cool, I just wish they could of relocated some flat rides along with it. May be a drop tower themed to Mr. Six's doodle comming down off of Viagara hehehe.

^ Uhhhh. @ your last sentence.

Anyway...real interested in seeing how this ride will fit into the area it's going into. Even more interested to see whether or not the location will end up being a poor choice given it's completely on the opposite side of the park from all the other children's/kid attractions.

Mr. Eight aint got nothin' on me, Moosh. ;)

Okay. I can't type that with a straight face.

Mamoosh's avatar

...booking flight to West Virginia....

LOL!

Is there a thread on this board that doesn't have a reference to sexual orientations? lol

-Daniel

You could cut the sexual tension in this thread with a butter knife.

Only those in which I don't reply ;)

OHHH. Is that what we were talking about? ;)

:) Colossus counts as 2 coasters, for me anyway.

Billy

Well, if Colossus and Superman would count as 2 coasters, SFMM would have 19 so far and the record for most coasters in a park. Obviousely neither Magic Mountain nor anybody else counts them at two

Anyhow, looks like a good addition to the park.
