You could cut the sexual tension in this thread with a butter knife.

All things considered, I think a more appropriate utensil might be a "spoon".

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

What has happened to coasterbuzz?

You guys are ruining a perfectly good "Is Superman 0,1, or 2 coasters?" conversation with your knifing and spooning.

The funny thing about the roller skater coaster they are installing, is that it has a 42" height requirement.

All other roller skater coasters have a height requirement of 36". They are calling this a "family" coaster.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well, if Colossus and Superman would count as 2 coasters, SFMM would have 19 so far and the record for most coasters in a park. Obviousely neither Magic Mountain nor anybody else counts them at two

Anyhow, looks like a good addition to the park.

I count Colossus as 2, so other people do count them as 2. Superman is 2 as well, but personally, I don't count them as they are identical (and barely a coaster in my book).

Do you count the side by side wild meese at Disney as 2? Do you count the 3 Batman clones in Texas as 3?

Plus, when Colossus runs backwards, they are REALLY different. Same thing applies for American Eagle - they are 2 different tracks with different layouts (DOESN'T run backwards at all anymore).

I really have no clue if SFMMountain counts Colossus as 2, I doubt it.

Do people still count Space Mountain as 2? Wasn't it Alpha and Beta a long time ago?

Personally, I don't care who has more coasters. I would rather go for quality (Kennywood, Indiana Beach, Holidayworld, Hershey...) rides that I like over a bunch of big mediocre rides. Just like to get a little intellectual... ;)

^Space Mtn has Alpha and OMEGA... ;)

^Thanks gator - that's what I was gonna put down first, but had a second thought! Coincidence that the American Eagle was originally going to be called Omega!

Yes. They are physically different coasters. You wouldn't count triplets as one person.

You might if they were all jerks!

^How about my multiple personalities and the parallel universes they live in?

Who else counts racers such as AEagle and Colossus as 2? Used to be a more common thing among coaster people.

For the record I could all multi-tracked coasters as one. My reason? It's just easier to count everything as one. No gray areas. No debating. NO having to put together a set of rules, guidelines, or parameters to decide how one counts multi-tracked as one or two.

I hear ya Moosh! And I count multi-tracked coasters as 2 because that's what they are, 2 separate coasters :) It's practical, logical and easy for my brain ;)

But sometimes they aren't two separate coasters.

I like that Moosh. If it's got one logo, one name, and one queue entry from the midway: it's one ride.

Yeah. That goes for you too Dragon Challenge and Lightning Racer...

Except for Kennywood Racer, Grand National and Mexico City Racer, show me when they aren't 2 separate coasters ;)

pullin your chain... I know

I just don't see how you could count coasters like Twisted Twins or Dueling Dragons as one...

Both of these examples include two, COMPLETELY SEPARATE tracks, each having it's own, unique layout. Just because they stand close together doesn't make them the same ride... I mean, just look as the names. Twisted Twins. Dueling Dragons. The names are even plural...as in, more than one. And in this case, TWO, different coasters.

LOL!

You never offered to visit me in WV and I'm way more fun than Mr Eight. :)

I guess people really can't tell that you're kidding unless you add the winky face.

Is there a thread on this board that doesn't have a reference to sexual orientations? lol

Hmmm... so if the conversation were between a male and a female, would it still be about sexual orientations?
