Great idea. I'm going to open a park with 18 Dragon Wagons and hire myself a kickass marketing director.
A strategy that didn't work out that well for Wild Adventures... ;)
On the plus side, HFEC has been re-imagining the park quite nicely...
I was almost going to say that myself, until I realized that the park, despite the bankruptcies and changes in ownership, seems to be doing well now. So in other words, everything gator just said....

Superman:The Escape is closed until summer 2011. The sign in front of the closed off Superman area says that something "BIG" is coming to the ride. What could it be?
^ LOL. Wouldn't surprise me. Seriously, I think the ride may actually be getting a new launching system.
They should replace the whole thing with a complete circuit like TDD.

^ I know a lot of people will say that, but that sounds awfully expensive, in a time where SF doesn't seem to be shelling out that kind of money.
Yeah, I was going to add a winkieface to the last post, but I thought maybe people would confuse it to mean that I knew that that's what was going to happen, when in fact I was laughing at the rumor.

What ever they do, it will probably be "bizarre" :)
Seriously though, I would fly over to ride it again, if I knew it was going to operate like it did when it first opened. The ride barely goes half way up now.

The issue that I have about the Bazarro theme is this: Superman is a much more recognizable name. If a park already has a Superman themed attraction, than Bizarro fits, but if it doesn't, then they should use and/or keep the Superman name.
Just how I would run IP's if I were master of Six Flags.
I LOVE the Bizarro character, by the way, and I am very happy to see him used in a theme park setting. I use the term "bizarro" all of the time.
About the title of this thread, mehh...
