Overrated: Millenium Force (Nice and tall, But where's all the camel humps and airtime at?), Villan (Way to rough becasue they use the wrong rolling stock), The Boss (Same reason as the Villan), and The Mantis (This ride has gotten to be where you could only ride it once a day, Also they still want to raise the hug bike seat right into your croutch, I don't know who is making the ops do this but they need to change it).

And I'll never, ever, ever, ever, ever make a song about the Sibbie.
(gemini) is still a great coaster and doesnt get mentioned to often.
(beast) is and always will be the best wooden coaster ever in my mind ,helix at end is unmatchable .
(sob) is a good coaster but not the greatest by far ,no match for the father.
(fof) with new restraints is great , before it gave me the worst headache i've ever had !
(mf) is ranked right where it should be ,and should remain there for a long time .
(ttd) havent a clue on that one yet ,been there twice havent had the pleasure to get a ride .
(wt) is most definetlywhat everyone cracks it up to be ,anyone who disagrees ride in the back seat ,you'll have a different opinion!
(magnum)isnt all that ,but still gives a good ride .I would have to say it's overated.
(x-flight)Isn't all that great , flying coasters and floorless coasters just dont get it for me personally .I would have to list those coasters as overated .
Over rated: The Raven... Dont get me wrong, it isnt a bad coaster, just that Legend blows it away. Legend deserves the number one spot. Raven the number two or three :)

Bah. Phoenix is about as close to heaven as I've come on earth.

Over - CP and SFMM. Both parks are the same to me. Lots of 'ok' stuff to do, with only one truly 'spectacular' ride.
Under - SFGAm, SFoG, Hershey, and PKI. I consider all of these to be far superior to both CP and SFMM.
Coasters
Over - MF, Steel Force, Riddler's Revenge, Impulses.
Under - Mindbender @ SFoG, Mr. Freeze, PNE Coaster, LoCoSuMo, B:TR @ SFGAm, Phatom's Revenge, Hershey Wildcat, Skyliner @ Lakemont. That is one evil ride.
I used to consider Viper at SFGAm to be under rated, but have come to the conclusion that it gets pretty much all the praise it deserves. If the ride actually started before the third hill, then it would be under rated in my book.
But that is me just being a complete tool about things... ;)

Its the closest to heaven that I've ever experienced on a coaster...

I dont need to re-explain my feelings on those green beemers. Exterminator was aiight, but like most mice, I was unimpressed. But I absolutely missed the airtime on JR's double dip. And I figure, if I could miss the airtime, it must not really be all that. (You want a real double dip? Ride Phantom's Revenge :))
Underrated: Lightning Racer, Kraken, Runaway Mountain (SFoT), Steel Eel.
(reverse order)
First I think that Steel Eel is not so much underrated as underridden. Anybody that rides that will not be able to deny that ride gives copious amounts of that "Sweet Morgan Air" (TM). I'm not even an airtime whore and I appreciated it. That's a damn fine ride in a smallish package.
Runaway Mountain is another of those coasters that people wont think much about because it is only a step up from a kiddie coaster. But the "Windstorm" layout has this one *wicked* drop right in the middle that is only made more effective by being in the pitch black. I dare anyone to ride this and NOT have fun.
Kraken and Lightning Racer are IMO the quintessential examples of how to design, engineer, and construct a steel and wooden roller coaster respectively. These two ride are flawless. I will grant that there is little *XTREME* about either ride, but again, I dare anyone to not like the rides. THAT should be the benchmark for a great coaster. Can all sorts of guests, from the hardcore enthusiast, to the nervous beginner, ride the coaster, enjoy it, and want to ride again. Kraken and Lightning Racer do that in a way few coaster can claim.
As for The Legend, Millie, et. al., if coasters are in the top ten, they are not underrated. Moreover, if a coaster would be in *your* lists of favorites, just not as high as it is in the "official" ratings, that does not mean the ride is overrated. I mean really, is there *THAT* big of a difference between a #1 ride and a #5 (in the grand scheme of things)?

I had my first trip to Holiday World for SRM and the Raven was good, there is no doubt. But the Legend was simply awesome. And during the night ERT made it 100x better.
I haven't really rode enough coasters to critique alot. But from the ones I have been on:
Overrated: The Raven
Underrated: The Legend
Hopefully I'll be able to expand on this soon.

Underrated coasters are those like Zeus and Cyclops, Gwazi, BKF, Batman & Robin: The Chiller, and Iron Wolf. All fantastic, forceful rides IMO. And no, I don't consider any of them "rough" in any way, shape, or form.-Nate
I will give you all those, but Iron Wolf, good greaif, I would just as soon smash a couple rocks against my head. How anyone can think that piece of crap is in any way shape or form good is beyond me. The layout is great, but to not call the thing rough is insane. It headbangs on the straight track even. It's right there with SFGADV's Viper as the worst steel coaster I have ever rode.
Anyway SFA's S:ROS is extremely underated. I got off the first time I rode, and could not belive this was the "bad" S:ROS

V2 AND DejaVu. Been on both, fun, but I don't get all the hype.
Manhattan Express, las vegas. 12 bucks...for That?? Maybe it's just me but...
Underrated: Viper at SFGAM. I could ride this coaster all day! Airtime, tight turns, and good speed. Tons of fun!
Underated: Mr. Freeze- I never hear anything about this when its a great coaster certainly better than Titan. Gwazi-it is an awesome ride. Deja Vu- while it has the worst down time it is an awesome ride.

I don't know if you can call it underrated. I mean, it does hit top 10 in most polls almost all the time. Granted it is one of the best I've been on.
That said, SFNE's is quite a bit better, and deserves its spot in top 3.

WHY IS EVERYONE SAYIN' SoB IS OVERRATED!?!?! Even though I havent been to too many parks, the ones I go to are legends (CP, PKI(kind of))! From my experience, I'm declaring SoB tied with Rattler for my fav woodie.
Underrated: Zues, Cyclops, anything at CP thats not overrated (they can twist ANYTHING into a great ride), King Cobra (One of my fav steels, RIP), and Runaway Reptar.(Its a great ride for a kiddie coaster)
Overrated: Beast, Magnum(Mabye not), and Mean Streak(although it has its moments and was made by someone my dad once knew...)

I really, really hope you are talking about the New Mexico Rattler.

The reason I say this is because the SFFT Rattler is widely known as the worst wooden coaster. Heh, I guess it explains why you like SoB! (no offense or anything)

I rode Chang 4 days prior to IW and Mantis 2 days after, I never hit my head once on either of those. Mind you I ride stand ups in the defensive position as well. Head well forward of the restraint, restraint pulled down to my shoulders.
