Overated/ Underated coasters.

Millenium Force is the best coaster EVER* then would be SROS @ SFNE

Underated: any coaster @ SFWOA(X-flight,big dipper.Bkf..Villain0 or SFOG(Georgia scorcher, Mind bender)

Overated: X....Magnum.....Nitro.....Medusa....Riddlers Revenge....and Hulk(not to great)

A little I think MF is overated. When I first rode it, I was expecting alot of airtime rather than speed.

Underated to me would be viper at great adventure. If you just put your head back you'll enjoy the ride. Only problem is, it's too short.

Overrated: B:KF (rough as hell when I rode it, and NO, I DON'T KNOW WHY!), ....

Underrated: Lochness Monster (that second drop is badass air from hell.), and the Puyallup Fair's Coaster: Thrill Ride. (P&C trains, and the smoothest woodie in the world. You really won't believe it.)

Re: LochNess, that's soooo true - The air is so unbelievable it cranks my neck right against the "headrest" - if you want to even call it that.

I really can't agree with your B:KF comment, though - in order for a coaster to be "overrated," it at least has to get some decent recognition. Sandwiched in the heart of Ohio's great coaster country, it is often forgotten - it probably can't even measure up to it's wood-on-steel neighbor, Villain (one of my top five woodies). I would tend to put BKF more on the underrated side.

But then again, we all have our own opinions....perfect example: I think Missy Elliott really has some TALENT, unlike some of my friends who think she's just a filthy gangsta *****.....

Lighten up guys....it's only a poll. Everyone here has an opinion. :-)

Another underrated coaster IMHO would be California Screamin.

I think you're alone on that one, Viper was never meant to be built. That coaster is a mistake. 95% of the people come off the ride in pain. They need to shut it down and tear it down. Pointless keeping it for numbers.

I agree that the Villian at SFWoA is an underaterd coaster. As far as overrated goes, I can't think of any rollercoasters, but does anyone else think Tomb Raider at PKI is a little overrated? I wasn't too impressed by that "simulator"

Underated: Montu and Mindbender @ SFoG, just love inversions with a lap bar.

I really can't say if anything is overrated or underated for the most part because it depends what mood im in some days I hate certain coasters other I cant get enough of them, but I can say that Bat Man and Super Man at SFWO are overrated, the Villian is good but I wouldn't put it on the top 20. But I will say I dont think coasters should be rated on there themes, I personally hate all that, I minimal themeing like cedar points coaster and some of SFWOA and PKI's where they dont have ot hide an alright ride behind major themeing. Under rated non themed to minimal themed, over rated major themed rides,,, a good example is TTD it has a bit of themeing but not overboard.

Underrated

The Boss-Great Woody you just need to hang on to enjoy.

Journey To Atlantis is not thought of as much.

overated: batman the ride, and um thats it really.

Overrated: X, Goliath (SFMM), Nitro, The Beast, Flight of Fear

Underrated: Twister (Knoebels), Vortex (Canadas Wonderland), Riddlers Revenge, Laser, Screeching Eagle

Underrated: Wicked Twister (awesome in back seat) Villian (Fun Woodie) Millenium Force (nothing compares to it) Dueling Dragons (both great thrills) big bad wolf (the ending is really fun) Raptor (a great ride ppl seem to miss that when at the point) TTD (i mean sure ppl talk bout it 24/7 but people dont talk about how great it really is only about its downtime)

overrated: Hulk (not much after an awesome beginning) Mantis (sure a great stand up but i dont care for stand ups anyways) X-Flight (good horseshoe and loop nothing more)X (THE MOST OVERRATED RIDE EVER it is not as good as it is said i mean 4d is good but the layout is dull and boring) Goliath (nothing ive never seen before)S:UE (lacks height, speed and they need the twist) S:TE (should go higher up the tower)
