Overrated: TTD. I have been on it, and not that it's a bad ride, it's just too damn short. It needs something else on it to spice it up a bit.

Underrated- Zeus, Cyclops, Viper(all airtime machines)

Check out this awesome park!http://games.coasterbuzz.com/filedetail.aspx?GameFileID=3001
Just Sort of Ignored : PKI's Beastie and Reptar and CW's Ghoster Coaster.
Over Rated : Son of Beast and Wicked Twister.
And we're going down to Arkansas late this summer and check out that woodie. From some reports, it could be a hidden gem.

Visit Camden's 100th!
On to my list...
Overrated: B:KF (rough as hell when I rode it, and NO, I DON'T KNOW WHY!), Magnum (yes, I like it a lot, but not aging well in my book.), Viper at SFMM (loops? yawn... who cares?), Cornball Express (yes, I rode it 5 or 6 times, and while the air was there in the front, it wasn't mind boggling. Perhaps a bad day?), and Goliath at SFMM. (Again, yawn. Great drop. Nice pos G's in the helix. Sh*tty layout)
Underrated: Coaster at PNE. (like you thought I WOULDN'T mention this one? ;)), Timber Terror (yes, Tremors is good. TT is just a little better. *let the arguments begin!*), Ninja at SFMM (who cares about the lift at the end? Not me!), Lochness Monster (that second drop is badass air from hell.), and the Puyallup Fair's Coaster: Thrill Ride. (P&C trains, and the smoothest woodie in the world. You really won't believe it.)
Commence, or continue arguing!

What's shaking in Robland? - Click it, or lose it. ;)
Overrated: Definitely Millenium Force, shameful it doesnt have any of the airtime hills that SROS at SFNE has, because itd truly be perfection. Xcelerator....i have yet to ride TTD, but to me, nothing has touched the launch of Hypersonic XLC. Id give anything to ride XLC's cousin Dodonpa to see what it feels like to go from 0 to 107mph in 1.7 seconds :)
I am on Nate's side of the fence as someone who really enjoys Iron Wolf .. However I can see MagnumForce's point of view, as Iron Wolf does have off days. I rode it last night, and it was very bumpy (I still loved it), but I can certainly see how someone wouldn't enjoy it.

Underrated:
Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome) - One of the smoothest Arrows in existence, built around and through a fake mountain (inside, of course)!
Comet (Hersheypark) - Sadly, it's the only Schmeck coaster I've ridden. I know a lot of folks complain about how heavily it's trimmed, myself included, but this ride is still tons of fun. I also remember the days before the trims, when the air was plentiful.
Drachen Fire - What can I say, it was dismantled because people hated it. This unique Arrow was at one time my favorite steel coaster.
Galaxi (PKD) - This should really be any SDC Galaxi. Fun little rides, and often overlooked (especially when Schwarzkopf Wildcat coasters are mentioned).
Great Bear - A bit short, but quite unique for a B&M inverted coaster. I love the implied speed felt when flying over the water before the brake run.
Grizzly (PKD) - The best coaster in the park. Excellent air (watch your head in the tunnel!), coupled with that wonderful out-of-control sensation.
King Cobra (PKI) - This applies to Togo standups in general. I think I prefer them to B&M standups, and although I like PKD's Shockwave, I prefer the flow of KC. The pseudo trick-track on the straightaway is surprisingly fun.
Manhattan Express - Best coaster in Vegas. I found it smooth...yes, SMOOTH.
:)
Mr. Freeze (SFoT) - The best of the Premier shuttles, yet the one I hear about least.
Runaway Mountain (SFoT) - I agree with Jeremy on this one; the wild turns and drops are greatly enhanced by the pitch darkness.
Sooperdooperlooper - Quite possibly one of the most underrated coasters of all time, in my book. It's anything but extreme or intense, but it's amazingly fun--and the layout through the woods and alongside the riverbank is beautiful. And Schwarzkopf built it--a major bonus!
Tennessee Tornado - Not necessarily underrated, but underridden. More people need to get out to Dollywood and sample Arrow's best operating looper.
Thunder Run - Sure, everyone says it's better than the Hurlers, but even when not compared to them, it still outranks a huge number of wooden coasters. Fantastic ejector and floating air, and great laterals make it the shining star of Kentucky Kingdom.
Toboggan (Trimper's Rides) - Or any old Toboggan; I love 'em, bruises and all.
Viper (SFGAdv) - Sadistic, am I? I really only noticed one painful section, right after the first drop. The two absolutely crazy inversions make this coaster a gem, and worth the paralysis. ;)
Wild One - Best woodie at SFA, which I don't generally find is the popular opinion (Roar seems to be the favorite). I preferred it before the modifications (during the Wild World/Adventure World era), but it still delivers. The helix provides some of the best laterals on any coaster.
Overrated:
Apollo's Chariot - This ride has grown on me quite a bit in the last few years, but I still think it pales in comparison to its neigbor Alpengeist.
Exterminator - It's probaby entirely unfair of me to list this as overrated, since the cars weren't spinning at all the one time I rode it. Let me tell you, I was pretty disappointed.
Great American Scream Machine (SFoG) - I want to ride this again, perhaps in a different seat than the front. I hurt my ass (and my naughty bits) because it was so bumpy. Seemed like it needed a serious retracking.
Two-Face: The Flip Side - Fun, but a few too many positive Gs for my taste. Pretty unforgiving on the stomach.
Vortex (PKI) - I do like this coaster, as I have a great appeal for Arrows, but this one was below my expectations. Probably my own fault, though.

Most Underrated- Magnum XL 200
Other Overrated- Raptor, Volcano, Shivering Timbers
Other Underrated- Dania Beach Hurricane, Rolling Thunder, Lightning Racer (I feel that most wood coasters are underrated)

Did you know that 3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the world's total population?
Underrated: CP Blue Streak
Underestimated: Big Bear
I've fallen asleep on Hurler, and I'm not too pleased that PKD chopped away the trees that made Grizzly legendary in order to create such a bomb of a mediocre coaster.
Batwing... any coaster that supplies such a short amount of enjoyment and such a great amount of frustration with one-train if not no-train operation is overrated. Besides the fact that the nearest bathroom is a fifteen minute quick-walk away. An overrated experience. Pass. I'd rather go on Tower of Doom.
Blue Streak is in my top three coasters at Cedar Point. It's okay if everyone wants to make three-hour-long lines for Millie... means I can get on Blue Streak faster ;-).
I rode Big Bear in the back-most seat. Therefore, I missed the whole experience and short-changed myself. The best spot on that ride has to be the front... and I love the tease twirl at the top of the climb right before the train drops. That's so sweet.

"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter." e.e.cummings
Underated: Mr. Freeze-a very high vertical spike and a tophat all in one ride. Yes!
Runaway Mountain-that drop in the dark. Enough said.
Thunder Run-The best woodie at SFKK.
Lightning Racer-rocks from beginning to end
Wild One-several pops of air, and that helix!
Great Bear-The strangest beginning to any B&M
Superman Krypton Coaster-Breaks the cookie-cutter mold, slightly
Steel Eel-Like Jeremy said, it's also under ridden.
Overated: Steel Force-Granted it was my first hyper, but it doesn't hold a candle to the newer breed
Jack Rabbit-Ok, I'll admit I have come out of my seat quite a bit on that drop, but really, is it worth the wait? I wouldn't cry if it were removed (I know, over several ACE members dead bodies) for something else.

If you have a problem with clones, the solution is real simple—Stop traveling.
last summer, I was getting night rides on Great Bear that rivaled Batman: The Ride in intensity. The thing was just screaming alongside the creek, the zero-g roll was blissful, producing Medusa quality floating. . . the air in the front left seat is top-notch.
If they had thrown a tight helix onto the end of this ride, it'd be Mary Poppins. Even still, it wrestles as "invert I'd like to ride most" with Batman: The Ride and Talon.

What do I Listen-To?
As for overrated? I guess I haven't really ridden a coaster I haven't enjoyed. I guess the Hurricane at Myrtle Beach could be considered one. I haven't heard many people talk about it, but I'll go ahead and consider it overrated just because its a CCI, and I was expecting much more than what I got. It is just too painful. (PTCs pleeeeeease)
All it is is a list of coasters that you think should be higher/lower than your interrepted 'average' from other riders.
You can't rate a coaster for something it isn't suppose to be. MF wasn't made for airtime. The Boss , Mean Streak, and Son of Beast are overrated? Maybe I'm just out of the loop. Or maybe i'm cranky because its been a couple weeks without a 'coaster fix'. We'll see what I feel like on Monday.
