Someone should mention that on the AT site that PKI is apparently home to "Breast."

I hope they spell check a little better for the print publication. ;)

Wouldn't mind seeing the theming on that one...

I'm glad Phantom's Revenge was ranked pretty high, although I thought it blew the socks off of Steel Force and Magnum.

The wooden top five makes me that much more excited about my HW trip in August, and that much more determined to get to MIA and LC next year! :)

Way to go Phantom's Revenge! Highest place for a new steel coaster. You can bet that this thing is going to move up higher next year after more people have the chance to ride it.

Same for the above article: I did not know that S:ROS was at Six Flags Darken Lake:)

God Bless Coasters!
A New Hoosier Theme Park is on the horizion!
Nice to see SROS at SFNE in the number 2 spot. That coaster rocks! The Phoenix also did well, but everybody knows that rollercoaster is awesome.
How the hell did Goliath rate higher than Titan?

Dude,Dude, Dude, Dude, Dude, Dude.....Dude. I've guess you've got a point there.

I'm sure the folks over at Custom Coasters are breaking out the champaign tonight! Job well done, CCI!

Fantastic! Millennium Force is king of the coasters...finally! Interesting to see that S:ROS is number two. I have heard nothing but excellent things about this coaster, and have to get there soon. Maggie got bumped..but I think it was time. I am very impressed that Nitro was rated so highly, and shocked that Goliath is as low as it is. I am also a little bummed that Raptor fell a few spots.

Anyway, congrats to all the winners...and be sure to get to the Point; the best park in the world four years in a row (God, I love saying that!)

mikey :)
Go Millennium!!!!!!

Millennium Force is NUMBER 1!!!!!!

Sorry Magnum

Current Favorite Coasters:

Again, notice of incorrect information.

I did not know that Six Flags Great America was located in Gurnea, Ill!

:-)

I really do hope that someone profread these lists before sending them out to the press, and the mistakes are only on the web page versions.

Why is there such a discrepancy between SROS:SFA and SROS: SFDL? They're just mirrors, and DL has the lake.
How in the hell did the Texas Giant make it into the top ten? Has anyone ridden this ride lately? It is horrible.
I've been on 22/25 of the top steel coasters, and I'm so glad Magnum has been dumped. My fave is S:ROS at SFNE so I'm not far off. Shame I haven't been on as many woodies (only 11/25).

So Megafobia is the highest placed coaster outside of the US. I bet if it was in the US it would be No.1.

Notice how Mean Streak was bumped from #16 to off the list this year. That ride has gotten so rough this year.
"How the hell did Goliath rate higher than Titan?"
"Why is there such a discrepancy between SROS:SFA and SROS: SFDL?"

I would have to imagine that a big factor in this poll is how many people have actually rode the coasters. Many more people have rode Goliath then Titan, therefore more people have a chance to vote on it.

Cool stuff.. thanks for posting, and time to update the records page :)

...as for S:Ros@sfdl and S:ros at SFA, the SFDL has been out longer, plus it has a lake, and it has mist.... its based on survey submssions from people I believe, and S:ros@sfdl has been in the top 10 since it opened in 1999 giving it some appeal.
