But in my opinion, the last thing Cedar Point needs is another short, gimmick coaster. Their next coaster should be nothing less than wood. Like SFMM, their steel collection already feels redundant (although at least CP has stayed away from the mega-inversions).
It's such a breath of fresh air seeing a wooden coaster go up at SFGadv, and anything other than that will not entice me back to Cedar Point anytime soon.
This area around SheiKra is why I think a dive machine is perfect for that area.
I think I would rather see a super flume to rival Dudley's or Splash Mountain though.
I also think a GCI would be sweet back there. There is so much they can do with all that land they cleared! Its exciting to think about.

How do we know it wont be a Sally shoot-em up dark ride? The plot of land certainly has room for a LARGE dark ride. LOL! I am not saying it will be but we can all wonder what if. Also a building like that would be great for off season storage of ride parts.
And then just have another Disaster Transport-like building that everyone complains about?
I would love to see a B&M Dive Machine, but it has to be taller, faster, and a hell of a lot longer than Sheikra. Sheikra is a fun ride, but it is over so quickly.
I think a floorless would also be a great addition, especially if they are able to outdo Dominator.
How about a floorless dive machine? Why not?
A B&M flyer would be interesting, but I highly doubt it. The footprint seems too big for a flyer.
I wouldn't rule out a wooden coaster, but I wouldn't expect one either.
Whatever it is, I would expect it to take up a lot of the space there, seeing as the train tracks were moved back. They have the entire WWL location, the decently sized pond, and the area behind Thunder Canyon where the tubes are stored. I also wonder what's up with the Undertaker U building, because they could probably build another storage building anywhere else and relocate the haunted house.
No matter what happens, it looks like we're going to have an excited year.
A dualing Sally dark ride sounds good to me. More family time.
Damn Cornfields
That, and outdoing Dominator would take alot of effort. That ride's a beast and still quite possibly the most intense floorless I've been on, though I say Kraken beats it overall, lol. *** Edited 2/8/2006 2:31:38 AM UTC by sirloindude***

I guess a flyer would not be a bad addition either. I honestly could not see a mid-sized wooden coaster going to the Point. I could be wrong about that, but I just do not see how that is going to get anybody excited. Enthusiasts would like that, but I could not see CP doing that.
