Legitimate issue with Cedar Point claim

If you make it to Morey's, you'll have to let me know!
No billiam, you're still a looser.;)
I have a legitimate issue with this thread. ;)

Rob, end of July, family reunion at LBI....I'll be making some stops around E PA as well, have to see if Williams Grove really can stake the claim to "World's scariest wooden coaster"...;)
Oh yes it can... any coaster whose lift hill is partially supported by a steel cable wrapped around the trunk of a tree is pretty frightening. Still not a bad ride, though.

I'll be in NJ, well... most of the year, so perhaps we can meet up when you come out this way. Any other area parks that you've never been to?

Which, of course, is better than having an illegitimate issue with this thread.

Sorry to bring back this old topic, but I received my CP Getaway Guide in the mail yesterday. Apparently, the advertisers at CP don't take this Best whatever on the planet too seriously. On page 10, they have a pic of Snoopy on ice with the headline Best Ice-Skating Beagle on the Planet. See, all worked up for nada.
Here is an idea, since Morey's can count all three piers, and as mentioned earlier in this thread, count the ocean in between as theming. I think CP should be able to add Geauga Lake's ride total to thiers and count all of those vast square miles of Ohio farmland between them as theming also. Just a thought, LOL

Been going to the Point for over 30 years and still love it!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a feeling that the ocean is better theming than the Ohio farmland landscape!
You are prob. right, just a joke man, trying to lighten things up a bit.

Yeah, especially "Syringeland" and "The Fecal Coliform Flume." LOL.

I'll take a nice corn field anyday over fecal Coliform Flume, LOL *** Edited 5/19/2005 10:32:51 PM UTC by Grady***

I've been swimming in the Atlantic Ocean for 27 years (well, with long breaks!) and have never been stabbed by a needle or collided with a syringe!
That's because they close the beaches whenever those nasty little microrganisms start showing up- usually between June and September. J/K, Rob-- you know as a Pennsylvanian I'm bound by law to rag on someone from Jersey every chance I get.
I thought it was New Yorkers that were bound by law to pick on all things and people Jersey? ;)

I know you were joking, I just feel bad because I think a lot of people refer to the Jersey shore's unsavory reputation when it is really unjustified. There were times MANY years ago when the beaches were closed because of medical waste but I don't think anything like that has happened it a while. I am pretty sure that the companies responsible for that crap were reprimanded long ago, although whenever I say something like that I usually end up putting my foot in my mouth!

Most of that medical crap came from NY anyhow so a New Yorker ragging on NJ is pretty ironic.

As for Pennsylvania, what's up with the slogan "America Starts Here?" There's a state or two before you ya know!

That's always bugged me. Talk about completely ignoring the state right before you!
Just something about some cheesy little document being written and signed here called the Declaration of something or other...
(which did pre-date Delaware's statehood by 11 1/2 years)
