RE: Wildmouse's possible relocation: Some have said in the area of the current Chute-out slides... okay, I gotta admit that I kind of like the idea of the mouse being put there for some reason. What I don't like is that the more and more I see boardwalk expanding, the more and more I see Lightning Racer being isolated and the entire idea of "Midway America" being scrapped and being turned into one big water park.
I still say they should have waited a few years, relocated some parking areas, and built a proper water park adjacent to / usign the same gate as the park, but yet not within the existing boundaries of the existing park. With a possible move of Wildmouse and more isolation of Lightning Racer and a possible replacing Canyon River Rapids with a Lazy river, a good chunk of the existing AMUSEMENT PARK is being eaten up by an ill planned and out of control WATER PARK.

Getting rid of the river rapids is a horrible mistake. It's a very popular ride and not everyone wants to change into a bathing suit to go on water rides.
Personally, I have a hard time justifying getting rid of flumes, S-T-Cs, and rapids rides. "Summer" IS pretty short these days due largely to school calendars being out-of-whack, but still....
Hershey seems pretty happy with StormRunner, so I'd consider Intamin a strong candidate...and we could really use a non-Mack/non-Miler watercoaster... :)
I am willing to put money on that they will be filling in the entire area that is new blacktop around to the left of the waterpark will be more waterpark. It all seems too temporary to be anything else. I would also like to see them just move the entrance to the rapids ride, and add some more waterfalls and splashes. More interaction with the whole area like roller soaker has. It would be so much fun.
Remember that old saying on here about new coasters, "Those who talk don't know, and those that don't talk know." I think there is a lot of truth in that. Hints have already been thrown out there.
We just have to wait until October to find out what it is. Hershey has been expanding pretty good the last few years, but the last coaster was Storm Runner in the 2004 season.
"The Perfect 10" is surfing lingo.
I guess that "The Perfect 10" is applied to competitive surfing though.
The perfect 10 also ties into gymnastics and rating woman.
It's a friggin balance beam ride!!! ;)
The Wild Mouse will stay,
Chute-Out will be a ride of yesterday,
Storm Runner drops you straight,
You WILL go steeper in 2008,
'The Point' liked theirs last year,
Now Hershey will have one here

Aw, <CENSORED> it, I say. I can wait to find out what the park is planning next season. Besides, the IMPORTANT season in Hershey starts in October when the pucks fly again in GIANT Center.

The Intamin coaster will have a past vertical drop a la Maverick, perhaps some inversions, etc.
It also sounds like they are adding an S&S Screamin' Swing, possibly named Tsunami.
That stinks that Comet Rider has gone missing from Coasterbuzz - but really, I couldn't believe they could post all that stuff and *not* have Hershey come down on them. Obviously the park did.
Hershey reads NewsPlusNotes every time I mention them - they're certainly well aware of what's being said on boards like these.
