Hershey Teasing 2008 Attraction

There isn't much terrain at the location being indicated. The real terrain at Hershey has been taken up by Sooperdooperlooper, Great Bear, Storm Runner & the mine train.

Calling Maverick a terrain coaster is sort of a joke and typicaly CF hype marketing IMO. It is built on flat land!

A Eurofighter would sure make up and fill the shoes of the last coaster Hershey wanted to build but failed to get going when that company went south. I'm leaning towards that.

I would crack up if it was a Maverick style coaster. I didnt necessarily like Maverick and if I would want to work my way into liking on a Hershey inspired model one would be great. *** Edited 8/22/2007 1:48:32 PM UTC by CHILLERLC1***

I was thinking the same thing- Hershey's coaster count is legit without having to count LR twice. As far as the source, he's completely trustworthy... you'll see.

^ Wasn't doubting trustworthiness... just commenting on the coaster count.

Sorry, I wasn't directing that at you- some of the other naysayers that don't believe the source of this information.

Comet Rider said the SAME trains as stormrunner, so I think a winged train maverick is out of the question, although I'm not competely eliminating the possibility of a zacspin.

If these clues don't add up to a euro-fighter...

What information did Comet Rider correctly leak before? I mean if we can hint that he's been right in the past we can specify what he was right about, correct?

Information that I'm not really at liberty to say. I didn't say he leaked information to everyone... I guess I wasn't too specific about who he leaked information to. I'll just say that he's the person who would know about this sort of thing, and shouldn't we be thankful that he's given us all that he has so far? He could have just left most of us in the dark.

Maybe I can gain some credibility by leaking details about Hershey's other 2008 addition? A flat ride named after a weather phenomenon?

Comet Rider was pretty public about the trains situation on the Wildcat, and has told us (the board) other Hershey info...it hasn't always been "complete", but it HAS been accurate. Personally, I think he's gone to Paula's PR school... LOL! :)

New today--sounds like JonEntGuy might have something. I know I had good info in the past, but this time it turned out to be bad. Latest rumor is the Mouse is being moved--what a pain that'll be. Don't know what happened to the previous idea. Guess it cost too much or something to buy a new one. Sorry to get y'all stirred up.

How could you Comet Rider? :) There is something more going on then the Mouse getting moved. We just have to wait to find out what it is.

Assuming the Mouse is moved (highly portable ride, really)....leaves some open space for some sort of Boardwalk/waterpark expansion.

Not saying that there couldn't be something else, or something in addition....but Hershey's already a "10" in my book. All they have to do to become an "11" is let the Comet fly... ;)

Guess my wish for the escalators up the hillsides in either direction from Trailblazer won't be coming true again. (Sob!)

NEW NEWS! So I was just told by a worker at hershey, there going to Take Out The River Rapids and put in a lazy river in its place.. and they are going to add 3-4 new waterpark attractions...No coasters next year :[
