Dude, I don't blame you one bit. That's a nice machine- challenging too.
Can't lead thread die....
What does everyone think the hardest DDR song is? I've been searching step charts and trying to find what I think would be the hardest. I'd be willing to try it but after the first measure it'd say "FAIL."
-Charlie Weingartner
The hardest ones of all time are the Max songs on heavy. There are only a few songs that I've *tried* repeatedly that I can't beat... Saints Go Marching, Breakdown, Rhythm and Police. But then again I haven't tried some of the *really* hard ones.
The hardest songs I *can* beat are probably Matsuri Japan and possible Era.

Max300's heavy steps are insane. They come out to be about 7 or 8 steps per second. Who can really sustain that for a minute and a half?

I've heard of people who are able to AA Max 300 heavy, but I've never seen one.
I can A the song on standard, but I get at least 3 boos each on the three eighth-note sections.

Yeah I can beat MAX sometimes (on heavy), lately I've been in a slump, but i'll get it back. I just finished playing DDR EXTREME, and if you thought MAX was hard....lol...Paranioa Survivor, Bag, and Legend of the MAX are HARD.
Kel: Bag on anything over 3x doesn't seem too bad though. Damned if I'd even TRY it on 1x though...wau.

Rolla coasta lova, and a DDR maniac
I did that with Orion.78 and My Summer Love both. Now I can get A's or B's on both 1x. It just takes a little to get used to the patterns.

Thank you for your letter concerning Dance Dance Revolution. I have sharedyour request with our Director of Games. He informed me that Dance DanceRevolution is owned by Kanami who went out of business in September 2002.Kanami Japan is looking for a distributor to distribute their games here inAmerica. We have decided as a company to go with Pump It Up! so in caseanything happens to the game we will be able to fix it unlike with DanceDance Revolution. We would have to get foreign parts to fix the game if weused Dance Dance Revoultion and foriegn parts do not always work ondomestic machines.

Remind me to think again about visiting one of their establishments. People with poor language skills have a knack for driving me away...

Expect to wait up to 4-5 games to go, however. $0.75/3 songs, and there are ALOT of songs to choose from. I'll be back there Saturday :)

MAX2 was "downgraded" from MAX2 to DDR USA today. From what I gather from the manager of the arcade, both Midway Mall's and Southpark Mall's arcades are owned by the same company. Southpark was slated for a MAX2 upgrade from 4th mix, Midway's DDR USA was supposed to get a MAX upgrade.
However, when the MAX2 upgrade was done at Southpark, they ended up screwing up the machine, so niether 4th mix nor MAX2 would work. So what did they do? Took Midway's DDR USA hardware as a replacement and replaced Midway's machine with a MAX2 upgrade.
Then the drama happened, many of the mallrats of Southpark threw a fit to management and even went as far as stopping business on the machine completely. Finding out that "their" MAX2 went to Midway many threatened to take their business to other area malls such as Parmatown, or even Swings N Things.
The arcade's response....
MAX2 at Midway went to Southpark unfortunately, and our humble machine returned to its DDR USA format. Midway will still get an upgrade to MAX, which should be done by Monday. I normally don't believe what the managers of arcades tell us because things can change in a snap. However, this manager had informed us about the original upgrade earlier this month.
So, thankyou Southpark, looks like your ranting and raving worked. I can understand that you'd be upset about a 4th Mix machine becoming a 1st Mix, but dang, some of the things that I heard that had transpired was immature, stupid, and childish.

Jeff - according to the "information" on DDR MAX, "Sandstorm" was an "international dance hit." So that's not so weird that you heard it... but then again, I've never heard it anywhere... but then again I don't go to dance clubs.
I saw a guy get a B on "Paranoia Suvivor" (10-footer) last night. It is absolutely insane.
