Translation for non-nerds: players of "hidden" are talented, while players of "sudden" are crazy. While Natalie is crazy, John is talented. If Rob is talented (in other words, playing "hidden" he is not crazy) then he is not crazy. If he's not talented though, he needs more practice.
Please excuse my meager C++ skills, it's been a while...

I think "hidden" is pretty easy, because by the time the arrows disappear, I'm already looking past them anyway. Now "sudden" is a different story. I find this impossible. I would like to try the mode where the two players' steps complement each other, but I don't know how, or what versions it is on.
btw in case anyone is following, I *did* get a PS2 for Christmas, but not DDRMAX. So I'm going to buy it Sunday (parents-in-law staying until Friday and I don't want to freak them out, then going away until Sunday night). Woo-hoo!

Okay...I don't know if you know this, but on the internet, there is a game called "Flash Flash Revolution." I was wading thru the topic, and someone mentioned something like it, but seemed like it was something you had to buy or something. So, I thought I'd post the link of the online game. If it was already mentioned, I apologize, but I don't feel like reading 14 Pages on DDR, when I haven't even played it before.

There are plenty of songs to try, and its fun. Its hard when trying to use the Up, Down, Left, Right buttons, gets confusing, but y'all will be better than me. I've only beaten Arcade Mario song. Thats only 2 difficulty.
Enjoy!

Uh Brent...
John did do an if...then...else. Granted it was in C++, but it was there, nonetheless... ;)

I wish I remembered everything I learned in the Philosophy 150: Intro to Logic class I took in 1998.
I think I am obsessed with Maxx Unlimited and Tsugaru. I've had those two songs running through my head for a week nonstop.

Great experience at LaserQuest today... Some peeps were already playing, and one of the guys said it was alright to have a game with him. I did so-so on some 3-4 step songs, but surprised the hell out of em when I passed Maxx Unlimited (albeit with a C). :)

This is awesome. I don't think there's ever been a video game with such broad appeal.
I'm gonna make my 55-year-old parents try it when they come to visit next weekend.

It's just too bad that the online culture of some of the hardcore players is so lame and juvenile.
